Appartamenti Vista Isola

We arrived on saturday 9 augustus and we were supposed to stay till monday 11 augustus. When we contacted the caretaker she told us to be there befrore 18.00 or had to pay € 20,00. We arrived at 17.30 like we agreed on by then she had already texted 3 times when we were supposed to arrive. She was annoyed and made sure we knew that. When we entered the building we were greeted by cockroaches, the appartement it self was clean. We discovered there was no bedlinnen, so we contacted the caretaker, she agreed to bring it for an extra € 60,00. We left to go out for dinner. When we came back the doorlock was broken and there was no way for us to go back inside and we had to contact the caretaker again. By the time she arrived she was angry and told us that we broke the lock and we had to pay for it. Then she saw our dog, which we had put on our booking. She started yelling at us that we were liars and cheaters for hiding the dog. And that we had to pay another €30,00. Which we thought was no problem but she kept cursing at us. She said there was no way she could help us and maybe come back with a locksmith the next day, so we had to go to sleep with the frontdoor open. There was no airconditioning in the appartement so we had to open the windows, because it was a hot day. The nearby cafe had the volume up loud and it didn’t stop till 4.00. The caretaker arrived on sundaymorning at 9.00 with a locksmith and he claimed he couldn’t fix it and left. This would mean we weren’t able to leave the appartement without taking all our possessions with us. We then decided to cut our holiday short and just go home. This was a horrible appartement and never will we stay here ever again.

maybe a few more plates and knives would be nice - we were a family with 3 kids....
