Charming one-room flat with small balcony providing us with spectacular views of the sea and Riomaggiore. We called it our theatre balcony as we could also watch passers by taking pictures and selfies🙂

All was fine, maybe in the kitchen there is still room for improvement.

beautiful view from a gorgeous little apartment in Riomaggiore. bed and pillows were comfortable. we enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sunset. short easy walk to the train station and main areas. our host was friendly and helpful and check in/out was easy.

the view from the window is gorgeous, so everyone wants to see it - right next to the apartment is where the crowds gather (as in you could have conversations with people on the viewing platform). as such it’s pandemonium most hours of the day! most people clear off by 10pm so you have peace. other small things - we found ants in the kitchen on our last day, no tv, no tea or coffee.

The location and view was unbeatable. It felt surreal to be staying here. You are overlooking postcard views of Riomaggiore and will be woken up by the sound of crashing waves. The apartment was well equiped with everything you’d need and expect.

Roby had excellent communication prior to arrival. He was prompt in meeting me and less than one minute walk to the property. As previous reviewers have commented it is a little dated but for me that added to the charm. It would look out of place if it was updated and the price would be off the scale. The apartment has everything needed for a stay within the Cinque Terre and it really must be the best location in the entire area. I used it as a base for the other villages as the walk to the train station is roughly 5 mins and the boat stop is 2 mins. Tiny kitchen that contains the basics so can easily whip up pasta, salads etc. Importantly a well used moka pot so make sure you bring some good ground coffee as nothing will beat sitting out on the balcony with a fresh brew. You are literally 2 feet away from the area where everyone congregates to take photos of the sunset but I found it surprisingly private. Yes there is a little noise, and I think downstairs is used by a local bar to store items and as a staff area, but seriously nothing that will spoil this apartment. I adored this place and will tell everyone I know that they have to stay here! Roby was a star

Nothing to dislike, for me it was perfect

The host was really nice and helpful. We came by car and asked for parking and the host booked a garage for us and gave us instructions how to reach it. Location is perfect only 2 minut walk from the train station and the beach.

The location and the view is unbeatable!! We stayed for 3 nights and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was the best. I read all the reviews and was a little unsure what to expect so I’ll try to be as detailed as possible. The bed was comfortable and not as bad as stated in the reviews. The apartment was clean and the kitchen was well equipped (a few of the items could be replaced and kitchen towels are needed but there are full sized mugs and wine glasses). There is a bit of a stuffy smell in the apartment (don’t think there is much that can be done about the smell considering it’s an old building and right next to the ocean). There is an AC which is nice and helps with the stuffiness if you don’t want to sleep with an open window. The wifi worked well! All and all we had a great stay and will definitely visit again!

The apartment is pretty noisy at night, you can hear the neighbours moving around and noise coming from outside. On our last night I turned the AC on and the fan from the AC canceled out any noise, so we got much beter sleep.
