Catullo Apartments Sirmione

Good location and good size for two or four people.

Poor lighting and not enough cutlery for more than 2 people. No wine glasses!

There were so many things we loved about our stay. We loved the location. There were stairs leading up to the building and a flight up to our apartment. We had no problem with that. The view from the deck and the bedroom was a church tower and trees. The church bells rang occasionally and I loved it! We were close to restaurants, the boat that took us around the lake and shopping. We parked our car and were brought by golf cart with our bags to the property. There was an extra fee for parking. Our host took care of all the details for us and messaged us with all the information. Our host was very gracious and easy to communicate with and so very helpful. We were in the heart of old town. It was a wonderful stay.

Shower was slow to drain, toilet flush would stick, lights above mirror and stove did not work.

The location in the centre of old town was very convenient. The hike to get up to the apartment, not so much. Good size space for four adults. Kitchen seemed well equipped.

This is your grandma's old apartment that isn't particularly well looked after. The aircon is only in the kitchen and hallway, NOT in the bedrooms. There weren't toiletries. The toilet leaked. The shower didn't drain properly so you showered in a pool of water. Parking is not included - our friend was charged €12/night staying in a hotel, but here we were charged €15/night. Slept on creaky camp bed, but was surprisingly comfortable. Thin pillows.

Located in the old town, Close to everything. Clean and loved having a wash machine. Owner was very helpful, kind and friendly.

The restaurant staff from downstairs would pass by to get supplies from the apartment next to us. They did not make any noise, but it meant our patio out the front was a shared area.

On the terrace you can see a bell tower very close. I’m thrilled to rush to the terrace each time it started to swirl and ring. Morena, the dear landlord offers some suggestions for sightseeing in Sirmione, which has been very helpful. Oh there’s a stunning view in the window of the sitting room. I cannot have enough of it when I was in the room. The location is superb and you can walk to every where in the island the soonest.

It is located perfect in the middle of everything. Great shuttle service from the parking. Aircondition.
