Right in the heart of Catania!

Clean and spacious. The only negative part is the bed!! It is way too soft . 😢🛌

A lovely apartment in a great location very near all the sights

Location. Well presented. Spacious. Access reasonably good; first floor. Responsive host.

Hot water for shower not hot enough. A few more kitchen implements: wooden spoon, vegetable peeler, tea towels.

The location is wonderful, close to the main square, with a tabaqueria and small shop underneath, close to coffee shop, pizzeria and bars. It generally looks pretty save you basically have 3 dors from outside to the room. It was clean enough, spacious enough and the bed was comfy (on the soft side but we slept well). The host left us some breakfast stuff and a couple of bottles of water (really appreciating when you find a bottle of water in the fridge at check-in during the summer). The AC would work even when we were not in the room so that was a nice thing during the heat wave. The host is gracious enough to provide you with a map and some directions and answer some of your questions. He does not speak English but we used google translate and that was not a problem.

We had an ants infestation, probably coming from the old wall. I think this is the one thing that bothered us the most. You cannot use the AC at the same time as a hair dryer. There was a bit of mold around the shower (damp) and the shower head was leaky. The hair dryer was not so good. The room needs one or two bright lights so that you do not need to tour 7 the switches around the room and kitchen.

Our host (Carmello) had provided a very substanial breakfast for the 8 days that we were there. ,including a coffee machine and a toaster. It was absolutely excellent to have private parking at our apartment,and being so close to the main centre we were able to walk everywhere.

Location was great and walkable to all the sights in Catania, the apartment was clean, quiet and private, spacious and equipped with anything you could need. The host was fantastic. Kind and helpful and checked in with me during the stay to make sure everything was going well. Nice bathroom with roomy shower, big sink and plenty of towels. The bed was very comfortable, there were wardrobes and dressers with lots of room to unpack, and the TV and Wi-Fi were exceptionally good. Also really enjoyed the little balcony right off the apartment.
