Amba Alagi Apartment

The apartment is just meters from the historic centre of Genova. It is a beautifully set and decorated unit, with all you need for the most comfortable stay. The parking is secured and underground, best thing in Genova centre area as finding parking there is impossible otherwise. We loved our stay, only wished we could have stayed more than 1 night as it was such a comfortable apartment, but our holiday plans did not allow it. Next time we're in Genova we'll book it again. We've already recommended to stay at Amba Alagi Apartment to our friends and relatives who visit Genova. Huge THANKS to Claudia and Roberto for their hospitality.

Secure, full kitchen, comfortable bed.

Difficult to navigate getting there at night, parking is VERY small so need to be an excellent driver, did have to pay extra parking.

Nice and cozy apartment, really close to the railway station and not that far from the city center. Stayed only 1 night but it is definitely an option for longer stays.

Slightly far from train station. We had hard time finding the unit, not address was confusing. We went to the wrong building

The apartment is on the first floor next to a large villa, above the Volkswagen showroom, across from the cruise ship docks and 10 minutes walk from the Piazza Principe train and bus station. The location is very convenient to take a cruise because you can walk across the road to the terminal. The main heart of the city is a 20 minute walk or there are bus and metro stations 2 minutes away. Was given clear replies by message and phone to my queries before and after checkin. The lift was useful for heavy luggage. I was met at the apartment and given the keys by a nice lady who did not speak English but used an app on her phone to communicate. She even gave me the English instruction manual for the washing machine cum dryer which was useful in the rainy weather. Lovely view from the windows, bright hall with a sofa and TV, very well equipped kitchen and dining table and a separate bedroom. Simple clean bathroom with bidet and hairdryer. The water stayed lukewarm in the bathroom but piping hot in the kitchen. The bed was comfortable, good windows and electric shutters to cut out light and noise.

The airconditioner is only in the hall and it takes time to cool/heat the bedroom. There was a storm and very bad weather and the bedroom was very cold the first night even with an extra blanket. But after I called the owner in the morning they came and fixed the heating for the bedroom so it was less cold.

Wonderful place. Close to everything. Our host was so helpful. We couldn't park our car in the designated spot so our host kindly parked our car for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Clean comfortable well equipped and spacious apartment. Good location about 20-25 minutes on foot to the city centre. Secure underground parking (beware it is a little tricky to get into). Very helpful host.

A fair bit of traffic noise through the night

Amazing view from window of Genova. Close to train station and walkable to old town. Spacious and beautifully decorated and well equipped kitchen.

Squeaky bed and a bit hot in bedroom as air con is living room only. ( but this was minor)
