Le Casette di Franco & Anna

It is a very authentic property in a good location, convenient to the bus terminal and with a beautiful cafe just 50 feet away. The bedroom was spacious and bright and the seating area was cool and relaxing.

The kitchen was dark and with the exception of the washing machine, the facilities appeared to be unused for some time. The fridge hadn’t been cleaned following the previous use and in general this area could have done with a freshen up. During our stay construction work began in the property next door. While we fully appreciate the host had no control over that, they were unhelpful in finding out any details in relation to the timing of the work so we could plan our days and be away from the property during the most disruptive and noisy period of the demolition work.

It is a lovely location, although at one end of the town, that just encourages you to go exploring. There is a very friendly cafe almost next door and the bus stop just a few minutes away.

It was a bit hard to find (it would be extremely difficult without Google Maps!).

Quiet, typical Italian area.

Lack of cooking utensils and unable to use cooker and hotplates at same time. Electric kept tripping out.

Good well kept, comfortable apartment in a lovely old building in a great location with a wonderful view from the bedroom window looking over the countryside. Clean, quiet, well enough equipped for an extended stay. Close for bus to/from train station. A few minutes walk to the cafes in Piazza del Comune, passing restaurants on the way. Then a few minutes more to reach the Basilica. It was a lovely place to stay.
