Il Castello Delle Meraviglie

Location was ideal for access to Cressa where I had to work. Unit was spacious and had all the amenities I needed.

Apartment was not as clean as I would have liked. Couch cover and pillows were in need of a refresh. The unit was oversized for my need so I only used some of the space. Shower could be fixed and clean.

The location was perfect for what we had planned to do on this trip to Italy. We drove to Turin twice, for the Salone Auto and to visit the Motor Museum, the Heritage Hub and the Pininfarina wind tunnel as well as some general site seeing. We spent 3 days visiting Lake maggiore and Lake Orta and also visited Novara and the Vicolungo Outlet Village. After busy days it was good to be able to prepare a quick meal and relax in our apartment, or eat out in two good restaurants in Fontaneto d'Agogna. Our hosts Carla and Barbara were excellent, friendly, helpful and very welcoming, which was much appreciated when we arrived later than expected, after our BA flights from Manchester to London and then London to Milan had both been delayed by one hour.

The host was very friendly. It is in a nice location with easy and free parking in front. The rooms are spacious and unique.

There is no a/c nor fans which made it almost impossible to stay in the rooms until around 11pm. Additionally the mosquitos were horrible. The place was not dirty, but the bed sheets are stained and really should be upgraded. I just felt like something was going to crawl onto me while I was sleeping. Maybe a better place to stay in the fall/winter?

This was a chance find on our journey to Greece just to rest our heads but we loved it so much we stayed an extra night. The welcome and responses revived from Carla and Barbara made us feel like old friends. The property is so authentically Italian and we felt so absolutely relaxed there. Space outside for our dogs and everything we needed so self cater. We will defiantly be stopping again on our way back to the UK and can’t wait to see the lovely Carla again.

Nothing

We needed a place to stay near Malpensa and this was a great value. The hotel was conveniently located in a quiet area and with a scenic drive to the airport. We arrived late in the evening and the host left a note and keys to our room. Its an older place and it has its quirks and charms, but it was clean. We slept very well!

Did not have wifi and the communication did not get us anywhere. Also we did not get breakfast as we left too early the next morning to get our voucher.
