Quiet location. Character property.

Some shortcomings - basic items not in the kitchen (toaster, no kitchen knives). Microwave had to be carried across the room to be used - it could have easily been placed on a new shelf by a plug! Exposed electrical wiring in the bathroom.

This is a very lovely place to stay. The location is great, only birdsong and the occasional church bells. Complete peace and quiet. At the same time, Menaggio is within walking distance. The apartment has a very exciting layout. But it is primarily suitable for a couple. The apartment has everything you need. The balcony is small but lovely. The view is wonderful. The apartment has heating, so it will probably be warm and comfortable there even in the winter. I dare to recommend!

There are no shops or restaurants nearby. They are about 10 minutes away. The apartment had a musty smell. The bed was too soft.

There were quite a few practical issues with the apartment. No hot water on the first day although quickly resolved by the letting agent. Wifi was terrible - kept dropping out and the code given in the apartment is incorrect (again, we had to contact the host). While the apartment is large, there is hardly any storage - one very shallow wardrobe with 2 shelves. There is plenty of room in the bedroom so maybe drawers could be a good investment. No full length mirror. No fitted sheet on bed and flat sheet slipped off every night leaving us lying on a bare mattress. No welcome information(there is a QR code but it doesn't work). The walk to Menaggio is about 20 mins along the side of the lake - while this is a lovely walk, it does become tiresome after a few days and buses are few and far between. No local shop :(

Great location and quiet surroundings. Parking available. Easy to walk to Mennagio from the apartment. The apartment was spacious and clean and has everything you need. All instructions and assistance provided by the agency were spot on.

The open space (lack of privacy) in connection with the toilet/bathroom. Despite there being a door, the space above the shower is open and leads directly into the bedroom. Would be ideal if the open space into the bedroom could be closed off by window or similar for some privacy. The top mattress on the bed is way too soft and U shaped.

The place is clean and quiet. It's a nice choice if you want to stay away from the touristy center of Menaggio.

No spoons, knives or forks

Our stay was great, such a lovely apartment in a friendly, peaceful area just across the street from the lake and its stunning views, and just a 15min walk away from Menaggio. Property had everything we needed, a fan and a very comfy bed (it also had a speaker which was a nice and convenient surprise as I didn't have my own!) The property also had great communication throughout and told us everything we needed to know beforehand (including directions) and responded promptly to any questions we had. Easy self check-in and check-out. Would recommend and would love to stay again!
