Bologna Central Apartment

Simone met us when we arrived and helped us get settled in. Great location, very centrally located with a market nearby where we could buy fresh fruit and cheeses. A classy start to a wonderful couple of days in Bologna.

Excellent accommodation. Fantastic location - right in the centre, but extremely quiet in the apartment - didn’t hear any street noise. Our first impression was spacious and better than the photos. Simona was a fabulous host, from first contact to last, and emailing us during the visit to check how we were going. She explained everything clearly, and a map of Bologna centre was provided, which is such a help on your first day in a city/town. The basic supplies were provided eg. sugar coffee, salt pepper. Simona also provided a small range of snacks, and fruit juice and water to get us going, which was really appreciated. Being in the city there are bars, shops, cafes, restaurants just minutes from the apartment, and about 10 minutes walk to the central city piazza under the cover of Bologna’s wonderful colonnades, with plenty to look at on the way. Small supermarket about 5 minutes and the large supermarket about 10 or so minutes walk. We also walked to and from the train station. Apartment was easy to locate. The courtyard garden was fabulous space. We loved it here, and Bologna. Would happily recommend apartment to family and friends.
