Alessio is great. He explained all the details nicely and offered help in every way. We were out of season, so it was completely deserted, no shops or restaurants were open.

Not far from the beach

Location was in a remote village, as apposed to what we were informed at the time of booking. Please control it with the owner before you book the place.

Beautiful apartments, fully equipped, spacious and with relaxing views. The smell of fig from the fig tree in the morning made the start of our day perfect. The location is ideal to go by car since it has an inside private parking. The beach in town is cute, there’s one shop with lots of traditional Puglian goodies recommended by Alessio, the host. Which takes me to the next point, Alessio is really helpful, replies fast to questions, is very clear explaining the facilities and makes sure everything works properly. One of the best parts were two cats that roam around, they came to greet us each morning when we opened the door, made us company while we were outside in the terrace and stole our hearts. Highly recommend this place.

The restaurants in the town were closed because we were there in low season, however this was perfectly fine because there are other bigger cities nearby and the house has a perfectly good kitchen and bbq place.

Beware the appartment is not located Via del Granchio in Casalabate as mentionned on Booking but Via del Granchio in Lendinuso, 3km away from Casalabate. --- We loved the peaceful garden, the terrasse, the quiet beach at walking distance, the small and safe city with friendly people. Alessio is the most devoted and friendly host you have ever met. So kind, helpful, always available for any questions.

The following things are good to know before booking but I would still definitely recommend this place. There is no wifi as mentionned on the description. The place is ideal if you have a car. Else there is only a tiny shop at walking distance but no other options for grocery shopping, also not a lot of options to eat out (3 or 4 restaurants). This is a detail but it would be nice to provide soap in the kitchen and in the bathroom. Depending on who is staying on the first floor, you might hear footsteps from the ground floor so if you are sensitive to that, maybe check with Alessio first or ask for the first floor.
