I recomend it! Beautiful Place Close to Beach and very peaceful

We came to Sicily for a short escape from darkness and cold, and yes, we got exactly what we looked for. The house is located just outside the beach, so kid could play in the beach whenever we were in the house. The apartment is located in the first floor of the house and thus has nice big terrasse and garden also perfect for some outside games (we brought table tennis rockets). The apartment was just perfect size for us 4, and we found all utilities we needed.

The beach is close but for sure not the cleanest one... it is full of litter and plastic, so we just had to learn to ignore it. The house is functioning but for sure not perfectly. My kids gave the name to the shower "monster shower" as water is super difficult to adjust and runs from "everywhere", so for sure needs some upgrade. The TV is very small for the size of the room, so we simply watched movies on our laptop instead. Finally, on the New Years Eve the water pipe leading to the house broke and we got water spaying non-stop outside. The owner promised to come and check the leakage but never came... so we just had to switch off the water for the night and whenever we were not using it. So it was not too much trouble for us, but simply felt wrong having the water spaying outside the window non stop... And yes, there is cat-mafia in the neighbourhood so we survived only two days listening to non stop mewing and requiring feed, until my kids bought some cat food and started feeding them (if you do not like cats, this might not be the place for you...)

I had the pleasure of staying with my family at Cassa Bedda in Catania, Sicily, for three wonderful days. The property exceeded all my expectations. The house was impeccably clean and well-equipped, making it a comfortable home away from home. Its location right on the seafront was perfect, offering stunning views and easy access to the beach. One of the highlights of our stay was the beautiful garden. It was perfectly equipped with a large table, sun loungers, and an outdoor shower, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the Sicilian sunshine. Additionally, the host was incredibly kind and helpful, recommending fantastic restaurants and shops nearby. He was also very accommodating, allowing us to stay longer due to our late flight. Overall, Cassa Bedda provided a fantastic experience with its cleanliness, amenities, and prime location. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Catania!

Great communication with our host, excellent location right next to the beach. Well equipped summer house incl. coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, cooker, mixer, toaster, kitchenette. Safe for children incl. playing area, toys and plastic bike. Very calm environment (off the main season). 20 min from the Catania airport/centre and shopping malls, 35 minutes from Siracusa.

Nothing. Just couple disadvantages - no public transport around, 2 rolls of tp and 2 dishwasher tablets supplied our family of 5 for the first days, then we bought some extras for the rest of the week. We had asked our host and knew all the above information in advance.

A fantastic location for families with children, but also for people who love to walk on the beach. Syracusa is only a 30 minutes drive away, Catania 15 minutes. The host is very kind and always ready to help. The heating is OK in wintertime, kitchen is well equiped.

Great localization with direct entrance on the Beach. Nice garden and huge tarasse, great and safe place to play for kids. House very well equiped as mentioned in description. Very nice host! I can recommend for 100%

All was great but, staying there requires car :) if you want to visit tourist places

Spacious ground floor apartment with large outdoor terrace and direct access to a lovely sandy beach. It was close to the airport and a great spot from which to visit Syracuse and Catania. The host was very welcoming.

The place is a little tricky to locate first time as it is in a gated estate, but easy to access after that.

Great location, very comfy. Friendly and helpful host. No need to choice other location. You will be happy.
