Historic Homes Zafig

Wir waren mit 7 Personen im Sommerurlaub in der Unterkunft. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem umgebauten Bauernhaus - liebevoll und interessant ausgebaut. Im Haus befindet sich ebenfalls eine relativ große Tiefgarage - angenehm bei hohen Außentemperaturen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, die Ausstattung lässt nichts vermissen. Die Küche ist auch für viele Personen sehr bequem. Falls notwendig, hat man in der Wohnung auch genug Platz für einen Rückzug oder man nutzt den schönen und überdachten Innenhof. Alle haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Weg zum Bahnhof ist nicht weit, im 30 min Takt fährt die Bahn in alle Richtungen. Im Ort gibt es ausreichende Einkaufsmöglichkeiten - auch diese sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir haben das Auto nur für An- und Abreise benutzt. Es war auch kein Problem, zusätzliche Wünsche an den Gastgeber heranzutragen.

The location is very central in the middle of Latsch and the coffee place and supermarket are close by. It is a very quiet an peaceful place though which is great. The building is obviously something really special and unique and the owners have done a great job renovating the old farm building into 3 modern apartments. The inside patio (chill area) is also very special and great in summer when it is super hot outside. A recommendation to improve the indoor patio common area, when it gets dark, there are only two lightsources which are however not ambient and relaxing lights but very harsch and cold lights. It would be really cool if there would be some small, warm, ambient lights illuminating the wooden beams ;) That would also make is truly special at night!

For the price we paid, we felt that some appliances and services where missing though. The kitchen has the basic appliances and accessories but we missed a toaster for example and there was no paper towel, salt and pepper or oil and vinegar. At this price I would except a bare minimum of basic ingredients as people usually stay for a couple of days only and won't carry with them the entire household! those things don't cost much but make a huge difference. The parking is located underneath the building and it is definitely great to have a parking at all! however it is quite narrow and if there are several guests (especially in the bigger flat), then it gets really busy and difficult to access a spot. Access to the flat worked very well and was easy. We never saw or met the hosts though and we were a bit disappointed that check-out was so early (10:00) and our request to extend it for a bit longer was not granted. At 09:45 the cleaner stood in front of our patio door and made it clear that she wanted to start cleaning the place which was really uncomfortable for us...
