Villa Vittorio - Splendid panoramic sea view terrace

Our stay at Claudio's apartment was great! He and Emanuele made sure we had all information necessary and they both responded very quickly if we had any questions. The apartment is nicely renovated and you really feel as if you have your private little place on the mountain. The terrace with seaview is beautiful. I (we) would definitely recommend! p.s. I would definitely go to the Letojanni beach

With the stairs you can reach the centre of Taormina in about 10-15 min. If you have mobility/walking difficulties and do not have a car (which I would not recommend in Taormina) the house/town might be hard to reach. We personally didn't mind the climb (it's actually quite a good workout after eating pasta every day:) ).

Dirty shower drain which got fixed We had only one HOT shower, otherwise always cold. Minimum communication

The terrace was amazing! We spent a lot of time there. AC in the bedrooms was a lifesaver when you couldn’t escape the heat. And Emanuele was the perfect guide and support when needed.

We loved everything, even the 250 steps to the villa from Taormina village, and the crazy road up and down we had to take with the car to get from an to the house.

The view, the surrounding, is really great. The kitchen is good equipped, and the aircon worked without problems. Washing machine and dryer and even washing powder caps available at the location. Small tip - if you are coming with a car, be prepared for a very narrow road to access the parking lot (but this is common for Taormina anyway). I would recommend renting a compact car. Otherwise, your way up and down to location could be stressful;)

To access the villa, you need to walk through other villas terrasse.

The person next door had to cross our terrace so not private enough. Confusion with name villa Vittoria booked but was an apartment with another name l'oleandra.

The view was fabulous. Up the hill away from the busy town. Large comfy bed (you can see the sea from the bed)! Communication with Claudio very quick and he was able to be flexible with our departure time as my husband needed WiFi to attend a meeting on teams on the day we were leaving.

We got a bus from the train station but then got a taxi to the apartment and were charged €20 which seemed excessive for the distance. We were on foot so be warned it is a walk into town (about 15 mins) and obviously all up hill on the way back. Only to be expected with a view like this!! We only did it once a day so went to town late afternoon. It was no bother for us as we like to keep fit and we enjoyed the walk so not a negative for us.
