We had a very nice stay at Casamata. The house is very well located and is very clean and comfortable. Luigi is a very good host who made us feel welcome.

Amazing little place that is obviously being taken care with love. The apartment is amazingly clean, functional, comfortable and well-designed. It feels like home. I love the little balcony and the bedroom on the top floor.

Very clean house, near the ibla town, very very kind host

Nothing, everything is fine.

Luigi is an amazing host. He reserved a free parking spot for us close to the apartment and brought us fresh donuts for breakfast. The beds and pillows are memory foam and extremely comfortable. The home appears to be newly redone, it is well appointed and comfortable. It is conveniently located in the center a quick stroll from beautiful sites. Because the city has many hills/steps and the apartment has a narrow staircase with bedrooms on the first and second floor, would recommend bringing only the necessary and living the big suitcases locked in your car.

The apartment is in a location convenient for walking to the main centre of Ragusa Ibla, and close by to local cafe/restaurants. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The street was quiet and the small balcony had a lovely view over Ragusa. Our host was excellent, and communicated with us via mobile translator device and via What's App. as we do not speak Italian. He provided some local breakfast treats, helped to carry luggage upstairs, and even drove us to Ragusa Superiore bus terminal. He also gave good recommendations on places to eat. All this was much more than we expected and helped to make our stay so memorable.

Location is in the middle of town, between upper and lower parts of the city. Ideal location for exploring the town. Parking is sparse in Ragusa, but there is some parking spots near the unit. Our wonderful host Luigi met us personally upon arrival and saved us a perfect parking spot. He was friendly, helpful, eager to please, and quick to reply to our questions. We liked having a washing machine to use. After a few days of travel, we could clean our clothes. The apartment is fully stocked with coffees, teas, bottled water, snacks, and even many choices of liquor and wine. There is a second full bathroom on the first floor adjacent to the kitchen.

There are two steep staircases in the unit, which may be difficult for anyone who has difficulty climbing stairs. Anyone staying in the upstairs bedroom has to climb up and down those stairs to use the bathroom. Second bathroom is adjacent to the kitchen, which is a bit awkward.

Ideally located for the old city. Spacious rooms with AC. The small balcony can sit two, with view of Ibla. The host is very attentive, helped us with parking, carrying luggage and recommendations. It is a great choice if visiting Ragusa Ibla but be mindful that the apartment is spread on three levels with steep steps, not ideal if mobility issues or with small children.
