La struttura era molto calda e la posizione vicino alle piste

Abbiamo riscontrato un problema significativo con l’acqua calda. Il boiler non era assolutamente adeguato per il numero di ospiti: l’acqua calda bastava a malapena per due persone e solo facendo docce velocissime (massimo 2-3 minuti) e chiudendo l’acqua per insaponarsi. Superato quel tempo, l’acqua diventava completamente gelida, rendendo impossibile per tutti potersi lavare. Di fatto, in una casa dichiarata per cinque persone, solo due riuscivano a farsi la doccia (e in tempi ridottissimi), mentre gli altri restavano senza acqua calda. Questo è un problema strutturale serio, soprattutto in montagna, dove una doccia calda dopo una giornata al freddo è fondamentale. Abbiamo segnalato più volte il problema dell’acqua calda alla proprietaria. Inizialmente è venuta a controllare, sostenendo che la caldaia fosse perfettamente funzionante e ci ha detto che l’acqua calda si sarebbe ricaricata completamente in circa 30-40 minuti, invitandoci quindi a regolarci meglio con i tempi delle docce, nonostante fossero già estremamente brevi. Il giorno successivo il problema si è ripresentato: una persona è rimasta sotto acqua completamente gelida durante la doccia e altre due impossibilitate a farsi la doccia per questo stesso motivo. Dopo ulteriori lamentele, il giorno seguente ci è stata proposta una soluzione alternativa: ci sono state date le chiavi di un’altra camera sullo stesso piano, suggerendoci di utilizzare quel bagno, soprattutto per lavarci i capelli (operazione che richiede inevitabilmente qualche minuto in più), così da avere una seconda caldaia a disposizione. Tuttavia, anche questa soluzione si è rivelata inefficace. Pur essendo solo in due a utilizzare quella stanza e facendo docce rapide (chiudendo l’acqua durante shampoo e insaponatura), l’acqua calda non è comunque bastata: una persona è riuscita a terminare la doccia, mentre l’altra è rimasta senza acqua calda prima di riuscire a sciacquarsi completamente.

Location to the lifts wasn’t bad

Where do I start? I had to pay 30 euros for sheets and the top comforter was a sleeping bag! They are crazy. On top of that.. the mattress was super thin and I could feel the hard wood boards going across the bed. It hurt laying on my side and I’m a side sleeper. It was horrible for staying at if you had a long day on the slopes. I wish I spent more to go to a real accommodation. I had to scoot the tv and tv stand to get to the bed. The room is oddly shaped. The fridge did not work so we left our food outside sealed in bags. The toilet was situated where I had to lean a bit to use the bathroom or my shoulder is in the sink. They only have one boiler for all of the hot water for the hotel. You could have cold water when it’s cold outside. The hallways stink. If you don’t make it on time to your check in it’s 50 euros. I think I am more sore from sleeping at this accommodation than 4 days snowboarding in Cervina. AVOID! Stay somewhere else! Photo is the hole I made to access the bed which you have to stand on to exit the bed. If you’re handicapped DO NOT STAY HERE AT ALL.

De locatie is praktisch aan de piste: even door het bos en dan ben je bij het hotel.

De slaapbank waar ik en mijn man op sliepen zakte door: dit lag echt niet goed. Uiteindelijk hebben we het dunne matrasje op de grond gelegd, gestud door onze eigen matjes die we hadden meegenomen voor de zekerheid. Prachtige electrische kookplaat, alleen is er een gebruiksaazwijzing bij: knoppen omzetten en niet twee pannen tegelijkertijd op volle kracht aanzetten. Beetje behelpen dus. Stoppen waren doorgeslagen bij ons. Je wordt hier overigens wel goed over geinformeerd en is redelijk gemakkelijk te verhelpen.

The property is clean and easily accommodates 4 people. The building in general is dated but communication prior to stay was excellent and no problem checking in! You can almost ski in and out although a bit tricky getting back in! The apartment is someway from the centre of cervinia but there is a bus that runs although it is not exactly punctual and getting back from town after skiing is chaotic with pushing and shoving to get on the bus! There are taxis available but book in advance! Couple of excellent restaurants 5 minutes walk from apartment!

Nothing negative about the property but we have stayed 12 days in Cervinia now and never has the Zermatt lift been open which is a bit frustrating! So do not buy an international ski pass in advance ! Check daily if it is open!
