Fronte Mare Capo Testa

The apartment is in a great location, close to the road but not disturbing (we were in May and there was very little traffic). It's less than a 5 minute walk to the small public beach (with beautiful sand and azure water and lots of small fish). It's about 10 minutes drive to a bigger town (Santa Teresa) or a nice hike for about 1 hour walking through the countryside with wonderful views. The view from the terrace (which is partly why I chose the accommodation) is beautiful and calming. The terrace itself is another wonderful "room" with the option of dining or just relaxing on the sofa. The kitchen had mostly everything we needed. the beds wer comfortable. Big bathroom with a ceiling windown and enough natural light. The hostess was always helpful and on hand. Parking right outside the house is also a plus.

We were not informed in advance that the tap water in the apartment is not drinkable (but you can cook with it) and fortunately our son discovered a sign warning about it high up on a shelf in the kitchen. So make sure you buy enough water before you arrive. We had to buy toilet paper and soap or dishwashing liquid anyway, which I wouldn't have fully expected in an apartment like this. But none of this was a big problem or hindrance and it certainly didn't spoil our stay.

The views on the teraace was so good in front of the sea.

The location is great. The view is lovely and it is quite close to some beautiful beaches.

There is no internet. Now admittedly it mentioned on the listing, but I did not know that was something to look out for in 2023 - I take it for granted. I travelled with 2 kids (1 teenager) and even after spending most of the time outside they need some entertainment and TV was all Italian as well. The host recommended me to go to a shop to buy a sim for the kids internet, I went there only to be told that you cannot buy a sim anywhere in Santa T. G and had to drive 1 hour to go buy a sim card. Then the whole process of getting rid of the rubbish on the last day was cumbersome. You had drive into town with the card to get rid of the rubbish and separate all recycling into 4/5 different bags. Overall it was good but not a most convenient set up! Hope this helps you plan better.
