Casa Cloe is a very spacious apartment with amazing views. The outdoor furniture is very comfortable plus the sunshade over the balcony provided shade from the sun. We were advised at time of booking of the short steep incline to the apartment but it was worth it for the view. You may find it challenging if you have any difficulties walking. Communication prior to visit with Stefano was excellent with prompt replies. Chiara our host was amazing always available and provided excellent service and knowledge.

- The view and the balcony was amazing! - A very helpful and friendly host - she video called and directed us exactly how to get to the apartment and was available at all times - Taormina generally was very safe and quiet and we had no issues walking in the evenings

- getting there was challenging. We were in an SUV and the roads are steep and narrow - not ideal and at times we did feel unsafe with the narrow steep roads. - the parking is a few meters away, so the land lady helped us to transfer our luggage into her mini car which she took up the hill to the apt. We then had to walk up the hill which was very steep to get to the apartment- not ideal if you arrive at the venue after dark. - the walk to and from town was doable but again very hilly, so if you’re not fit, be prepared. - one of the toilets had a flush problem on the first night so the water ran all night before the plumber could fix it the next morning. - They could reduce some of the clutter from the living space to make it more spacious. - the pots and pans were very scratched and we didn’t find them safe to cook in. The co-op is about a 10 min walk for groceries. - Overall the apartment was good and fully furnished - even had basic oils and cooking/tea/coffee ingredients for us to use.

Just a bit hilly

Chiara met us and showed us round the apartment. QR code to scan with recommendations. Beautiful view and comfy outdoor furniture. Good kitchen facilities. Nice powerful shower.

The bed was not comfortable, my husband felt like he was rolling into the middle, and unfortunately we both found it very hard.

The balcony view was outstanding. Comfortable beds.

Steep entrance.

Amazing views from lovely apartment. Only downside was noise from neighbouring flats through ceiling in ensuite bedroom..poor soundproofing rather than neighbours' fault. Access to another apartment runs infront of terrace so not private. The view and the spacious terrace made up for it though. Very steep hill and steps to access apartment so you need to be fit.

All was perfect. The host was perfect. She helped us with our luggage and showed us lots of nice restaurants and places to go shopping and eat. a superb place run by a very nice person

For us it was not negative, although we traveled with a two-year-old child, but maybe for someone else the climb is a little difficult but it was worth all the effort. the view is superb
