Wunderschönes Apartment mit hervorragender Ausstattung in perfekter Lage. Die Kommunikation war stets freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.

I liked the fact that there was someone around to hand over the keys and to show us the property. We very much liked the terrace on which we could relax during our stay. The property was very lovely, equipped with the essentials and the location absolutely fantastic. The air was dry and our laundry would dry within a few hours. We were given a list with restaurants suggestions and were happy to use a few. We also very much appreciated the possibility to keep our luggage somewhere safe until later of the day of check out as well as the offer from the owner, to help with transportation arrangements to the airport.

Worth mentioning: there is no elevator and a certain basic fitness is required. However, that came in very handy for us considering the amount of pasta we had eaten during our stay in Salento... Mind the mosquitoes.

This apartment was perfect, the photos do not do it justice. The view of the piazza from the balcony was fabulous, everything was within walking distance including a great coffee shop downstairs. The apartment itself was very spacious with everything you could ever need. The host was so lovely and accomodating. Highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Lecce.

The huge windows

Fantastic location for visiting Bari Vecchia. Roomy first floor apartment with 1.5 baths, kitchen, living room (with balcony overlooking Piazza Mercantile and direct view of water), and loft bedroom with comfortable bed. Multiple great restaurants and cafes within eyesight on the piazza, plus more within a short walk on side streets off the piazza, and more within a short walk. Within moments you can be strolling along the waterfront.

The only complaint I could have is the shower is small.

Possibly the nicest of any kind of place (rental/hotel) we have ever stayed. Beautiful, luxurious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean, in a location hard to beat. Sitting out on the terrace drinking our complementary bottle of wine, listening to piano, church bells, and the ambient chatter in the piazza was absolutely heavenly.

Everything was perfect! Lots of stairs to reach the apartment, but so worth the climb!

We didn’t book a long enough stay!

Die Lage des Appartement ist eigentlich nicht mehr zu toppen! Gut, lärmempfindliche Seelen mögen einwenden, dass am Teatro Romanum immer Lärm ist. Aber wer im Sommer nach Süditalien in den Urlaub fährt, dann mitten in der Stadt wohnen will, sollte wissen, worauf er sich einlässt. Wir waren sowohl von der Wohnung, als auch der Dachterasse begeistert. Bei der Ausstattung fehlte nichts. Weder Waschmaschine noch Nespresso-Maschine. Die beiden Klimagräte waren völlig ausreichend die Wohnung im Sommer wohl zu temperieren. Für die Autofahrer unter uns, gab es sogar noch einen Parkplatz für den fahrbaren Untersatz. Gut, der ist 700m entfernt, dafür in einem Innenhof, der mit einem abschließbaren Rolltor gesichert ist. Ein weiters Goodie sind die zusätzlichen Badetücher, die man nutzen kann, um an einen umliegenden Strand zu fahren und dort einen netten Tag zu verbringen.

Man muss erwähnen, dass man weder direkt vor die Eingangstür fahren kann, weil die Wohnung in der Fußgängerzone liegt, noch hat das Gebäude einen Fahrstuhl. Beides lässt sich kaum ändern, war uns auch bewusst.

We loved our stay here, the location is fantastic & the apartment was comfortable & great, the outside terrace is fantastic & such a bonus, also when travelling for months having a washing machine is brilliant. The owners were very friendly & helpful & the girl who greeted us was a delight. The off site parking option is perfect & a must as street parking is near impossible. There is roughly 60 steps up to the apartment, this wasn’t such a big negative to us but could be a problem to others. We would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Lecce.

Location, location, location. The apartment had an amazing view from the large outdoor balcony overlooking the amphitheater. It was very well equipped with everything you would need for your stay. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and then enjoying meals on the balcony. We spent 5 nights in this beautiful part of Lecce and absolutely loved the apartment. It was very quiet at night even though there was a festival on - we didn’t hear anything whilst sleeping. Frederica was a wonderful host and was very responsive to our messages. The photos were accurate of the apartment.
