DEWe recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming apartment nestled in an old, picturesque house. The setting was absolutely beautiful, with an authentic character that perfectly captures the essence of the region. The apartment was well-maintained and offered a delightful blend of historic charm and modern comforts. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a serene and unique getaway. Why down to the town was for us totally fine, 15 min and why up after good dinner and wine was also easy maybe 20 min . Marcella explained really great the way how to find a parking and apartment ,shared a few useful tips about Menaggio. Thank you Marcella !!!!

SEVery large and cozy country house in a quiet and peaceful area. Marcella is a wonderful host, we arrived very late in the evening and was still met with a warm welcome. Marcella gave us recommendations for a restaurant nearby which was fantastic!
It was pretty cold in the apartment, especially on the floor.

MTThe host Marcella was wonderful. She is an artist and decorated the apartment beautifully - a real boutique stay! The apartment is spacious and it has a full kitchen that you have access to.
There is a construction / renovation project going on and there is scaffolding erected all around the apartment on 3 sides. They work from about 8am until 5pm weekdays and our host said that they wouldn't work on Saturday but they did, from 8am, so sleeping late was not possible. The apartment was noisy during the day except Sunday when there was no work. It looks like the construction will continue for a few months. We were out during the day most of the time so it is only the early morning work that really bothered us.
