Sweet Carola

The apartment is in a great location, near the beach but also near the main exit to all the little towns you must see when in heare. Close by is a free parking. The host is so kind. We really hope to return soon.

Paola was the best host for us. She was very helpful and satisfied all our special requests due to that we went with a 9 months old baby and had a lot of requirements

In principle it's a good apartment. It's clean and spacious with plenty of storage space for longer stays. Its more suited for family stays.

We booked the apartment only because it was advertised to have balcony with sea view. However, it was highly disappointing as the building is under repair and the balcony is covered as a construction site and is unusable. There is also construction going on in the backyard and it's noisy sometimes in the morning through the bedroom window. The apartment description says "CCTV camera in common area" which actually means it's above the entrance door inside the apartment. This made us very uncomfortable as we had the feeling of being watched while walking through the hallway to the living room. They also had the information about when we are going or coming to the apartment which is creepy and unnecessary. They also come to give/take the apartment keys personally from you so they don't necessarily need a CCTV to confirm the check-in/checkout time. For protection from robbery, the camera can actually be placed outside the apartment door or out in the balcony. The bedroom mattress is covered with a plastic protector which makes it a bit uncomfortable while sleeping. I would also request the owners to proved more blankets as we had only one thin blanket and no duvets. It was very cold in the night (End of October). Also, being an apartment stay with a kitchen it's normal that you would cook, but they do not provide the bare minimum cooking ingredients like salt and oil. The toilet paper is rationed with minimum rolls that they think are enough for you. (Please read the negative feedbacks as well where you will find the responses very unfriendly and also some people speak about the lack of enough toilet papers, CCTV) I think it's also very unnecessary to take 50€ as deposit upon arrival at the apartment. I think they can skip this part completely.

Great place for families with small kids. Everything is around - clean sandy and shallow beach Pane e Pomodoro across the street (we literally went there just with towels). Great pizza next door and supermarket and grilled chicken 5 minutes walk over the train bridge. The apartment is clean and spacious enough for 4 people. Kitchen is well equipted - we easily made lunches and dinners several times. Train station is 10 minutes walk and brings you to Polignano a Mare in 40 minutes. The hosts are very helpful so we always agree on everything. This is the place where you want to return and explore more around.

We were there very early and we went on the beach but the weather was a bit cold. The communication with owners was good. Great view from the terrace of the place. The bedroom was quet and clean. Nice coffee in the kitchen and well equipped appartment.

No internet in the place. Not a problem because we had from our mobiles. Was a relaxing time overall.

Spacious apartment close to the beach. A perfect place for families. We felt like at home. Really kind and very helpful owner.
