The appartment was very big and beautiful, our host was nice and welcoming, she recommended us how to get to metro, bus, shops, what not to miss, some good places to eat etc.

The apartment was beautiful and clean. The nicest surprise was the outdoor terrace. The host was really kind and happy to share many tips where to go and how to get there…restaurants, sights, trips…

if you are with a car - there is some time needed to find a parking place (but we managed 😀)

When traveling with three children, we really appreciated the helpful attitude of the owner, that it was possible to stop by the accommodation after an early morning arrival to change and leave our suitcases until the room was ready for us. The advice on where to park the car was also helpful, as finding a space in the crowded streets is really difficult. The apartment had a nice kitchen but unfortunately with less equipment. Only pasta could be cooked :)

According to the photos we thought that the apartment would have more bedrooms, but only on the spot we found out that the photos are mixed from two apartments. So there were a total of 5 of us in one room, which was not very nice. In addition, the bedroom is situated on a busy street, which although one way, is unfortunately active all night long. The window has only white curtains and the passing cars and motorbikes are very distracting not only with the noise but also with the lights that irradiate the beds with each passing. It would certainly be great if the owners invested in shutters and dark curtains. The apartment is on the ground floor and the noise was really tiring. In terms of cleanliness, we felt the apartment was not mopped - so we had to walk around in shoes, which was also not very pleasant after walking around outside all day. The second, smaller apartment, which is situated in the courtyard will definitely be a better choice.

Beautiful and clean appartment with outdoor terrace, where we had our meals. 15 minute walk to the beach, 10 minute walk to the Galatea metro station and 15 minute drive from Catania airport. We rented a car and although the streets in this area are very busy, we always managed to find a parking spot nearby. There is a supermarket down the street, where we bought goodies for our breakfasts and dinners. The kitchen had everything we needed including a coffe maker with coffe tabs, we really appreciated. The host let us in early to drop off our luggage ang groceries. She gave us manj great tips to travel around. We had a great time in Sicily.

There is only one bedroom. The street is quite noisy during the night. I suggest bringing earbuds if you are a light sleeper like me.
