Cascina Nomade - Wine & Scenic Retreat

We explored the Piedmont region from the lovely Cascina Nomade with the suggestions of host Maria and the regional wine by the expertise of host Gerri. They both created a cosy and lovely atmosphere at their Cascina.

The setting is gorgeous and the owners are amazing hosts who will go out of their way to ensure you have an amazing stay. Really recommend.

Recently refurbished farmstead in the gentle hills of Dogliani. Great and quiet location with a terrific view of Basse Langhe straight to the Alps and Monte Rosa. The facility is welcoming and cozy, nicely furnished and well equipped with external patios and barbecues for the guests. The hosts Maria and Jerry are super friendly and thoughtful and will support with many suggestions.

The curtains were a little weird: not large enough to cover the whole windows such that too much light entered the room in the morning. At night it can be tricky to walk outside due to insufficient lighting.

We loved everything at Cascina Nomade, the vibes, the place itself in the nature, the smiles, the good advices and the kindness of Maria and Gerri. The sunsets were beyond beautiful and all our family felt happy there. We hope to be able to come back next summer and we wish a lot of success to this little Italian paradise.

Peaceful. Beautiful. It’s a perfect getaway. Right in the middle of enchanting wine country. We really just wanted to sit down on our balcony each night, sip good wine and enjoy the sunset. Maria and Gerri are lovely hosts: full of (good!) energy, ready to inspire you with some local gems (outings, restaurants) and ready to help in any way they can. Our place was nice and cool, with authentic details and a big plus for us: toddler proof. The garden was full of interesting things to discover with hammocks, a vegetable garden en horses (down the road). Our kid just loved running around. We’re already fantasising on going back. 100% would recommend.

The apartment was very charming located above Dogliani with an astonishing view across the Piemontese landscape. It was perfect to sit on the terrace and enjoy a delicious glass of Dolcetto! Gerri and Maria are very charming and helpful hosts. They always make you feel welcome doing everything possible to make your stay unique. Their two dogs behaved very well which was good for us traveling with two small children.

we had a great stay at Cascina Nomade with very welcoming hosts. Location is sublime and provides panoramic view over the hills. Would be happy to come again for a longer stay! also, wifi worked pretty well and there is a spacious common area that is comfortable to work in - can be a good place for remote work:)

This is a true gem, surpassed all expectations! The location and views are truly amazing, there is plenty of outside space to hang out and enjoy nature / the scenery. The apartment is spacious (including 2 fantastic balconies), clean, well equipped and beautifully renovated. Village is nearby, and lots of beautiful places to visit in the area. The hosts Maria and Gerry are super friendly and very easy to talk with. They have created a very welcoming, relaxed and open vibe. We had an amazing holiday, but I imagine this place to be a perfect hide out to work concentratedly. All in all, we instantly detached from daily life and I can't wait to come back in other seasons!!
