Casa PRATOLINO

It was a perfect location. We loved the privacy of the apartment and all the amenities. The pool was our favorite part and the gorgeous view it overlooks. The local winery has excellent wine and we enjoyed the tour and tastings there.

Very minor as we would stay again; Beds were hard for us. Be prepared for the dirt and bumpy roads to get to the airport.

Appartamento molto ben tenuto, comodissimo per 4 persone. Ho apprezzato la pulizia e la gentilezza della proprietaria. La casa è situata in un contesto di altre abitazioni, poche, che danno l’idea di un piccolo borghetto. Abbiamo apprezzato anche la piscina.

La struttura non offre la colazione, avremmo apprezzato il suggerimento di comprare l’occorrente prima di arrivare giacché non c’è modo di provvedere in loco. Le finestre sono prive di zanzariere, necessarie per non essere costretti a stare sempre chiusi dentro, essendo in aperta campagna gli insetti non mancano. Una delle due camere da letto affaccia sul ristorante da cui arriva il vociare fastidioso dei commensali fino a tarda sera. Alla luce di quanto detto, trovandosi peraltro abbastanza isolato, il prezzo a mio avviso è un tantino eccessivo.

Casa pratolino was a little piece of heaven. remote, peaceful and built with love. The views were breathtaking I especially enjoyed sitting with coffee in the morning by the pool overlooking the rolling hills. High recommend and huge thank you to Ana for making this so wonderful.

Casa Pratolina is an absolute gem! Ana is a wonderful host – warm, welcoming, and always ready with helpful tips and suggestions. The swimming pool is delightful and offers breathtaking views over the rolling hills – the perfect spot to completely unwind. Thanks to its central location, it’s the ideal base for exploring the surrounding villages as well as visiting Florence. Whether you’re looking for relaxation, culture, or the beauty of the Chianti region, you’ll find it all here. A place to enjoy and one you’ll long to return to.

This place is wonderful: breathtaking views and a very well appointed apartment. It's an old stone farmhouse building, but completely renovated on the inside, including the all-important air conditioning. Plan to stay one more day here than you were originally thinking. You wont regret it. Practical considerations: this place would be great for two couples, or two friends traveling together, or a family of four or five. The two bedrooms are both big enough and each have their own air conditioning. There is a separate living room from the dining/kitchen area, plus lots of outdoor spaces to gather. Note: there is a sister apartment immediately adjacent, called Casa Alta (same owner). My friends and I rented both and It was really perfect for us. But even if you don't know the people right next-door, the old stone walls are quite thick and I did not hear any noises from the adjacent apartment. There is a third apartment, Casa Ana in a separate building just across the driveway. So if you have a big group, or a few families, you could rent all three. But conversely, you won't be bothered by others occupying those spaces if you don't know them. Casa Alta is slightly smaller than Casa Pratolino, but still 2 bed/2 bath. Two more outstanding features: (1) the hostess, Ana, could not be more helpful, hospitable, and friendly. She met us upon our arrival, gave us the keys and showed us around. (2) the restaurant on site (literally about 20 steps from where you stay) is called La Cantinetta Di Rignana; you sit outside with breathtaking views of the vineyard and countryside. And the food was one of the best meals I had in three weeks in Italy.

because you're in an actual vineyard, there will be bugs/flies/bees when outside. But that's not a criticism of this property; just beware of your choice to live on a farm.

Gorgeous well equipped apartment. Felt modern but still charming at the same time. Ana was very helpful and communication was great. The popular (but separate) restaurant on the same compound was ideal for us to enjoy a nice meal and wine in the evening without driving. Pool was lovely.

The only downside for me was the outside space. There were people in the next apartment so privacy was an issue with sitting outside. They have tried to deal with this with other sitting areas but it’s a bit make-shift. The gardens and outside areas (the bins nearby were not pleasant) could do with some attention but overall still a fantastic and beautiful place.

Spectacularly beautiful and comfortable. A very quiet and beautiful spot with lovely garden in the heart of Tuscany. Exactly what we were looking for. There is also an excellent restaurant next-door that we ate at 3 times. We traveled with 4 young kids and everyone loved it - great for families looking for some peace and quiet

The location is a mixed-bag. The isolation and beauty are great, but it's a significant drive to most nearby attractions (florence, sienna, san giminiagno, etc). There are tons of lovely vineyards and villiages nearby, but to get to the major tuscan cities it's 45' to an hour

beautiful location, modern yet original house, super nice communication from Ana and Luca, house is perfect for sharing and really clean. air conditionjng worked great, rooms are spacious and modern.
