The apartment needs to be refreshed. No luggage storage facilities

Great location in centre of Bologna, easy walk from train station & access to sights, cafes etc. Quick proactive & helpful communication with owner/caretaker. Quiet apartment even though you are right in the heart of the city..

The apartment is really good. It is very central - about 5 minutes walk from the large piazza - and access is from one of the porticos that make Bologna so unique. There are lots of shops as you come out but the apartment itself is very quiet as it looks out the back. There is a tiny balcony which overlooks the roofs in the neighbourhood and it's lovely to sit there in the evening with a glass of wine. The place had everything we needed for our stay and was very comfortable. The bedroom was nice as it has lots of room for storage.

My small criticism is that the place does not have a dishwasher and guests wash and put away the dishes they used. Which is of course fine, but I did not feel that all the dishes were as clean as I like them to be and I washed things before I used them which I would not normally do. However, I understand that things are probably done this way there and for most people this would not be an issue. One of the balcony chairs could use a bolt to fix the seat to the stand as it was impossible to sit on it but we used one of the kitchen chairs instead (small thing really).

The location is excellent; close to cafes, restaurants, bars and very interesting independent shops, as well as lots of ice cream shops and a market. And the flat is near all the sights. The flat is quiet, as it is at the back of the building. It is on the 3rd floor, but there is a lift. The balcony overlooks the city. There is a kitchen in the flat, but we didn't need to use it as the city is FULL of fantastic places to eat! The apartment felt secure and the WIFI very good.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

We had a very good stay in this apartment because it had so many of the things that make for comfort - great bed, shower and heating in every room, plenty of power points, mirrors, storage and space and an excellent location.

A toaster was the only thing we missed.
