The location is good.

There is a staircase to get into the place, so is a little bit uncomfortable to carry a medium luggage. The host didn’t wait for us and was very rude, didn’t bring good instructions to get the key and when we were unable to understand her, send us this emoji 🤦🏻‍♀️ she refused to send us help as soon as we asked for her help, despite it was very sunny and we were tired after carrying our luggage through the staircase. She doesn’t know how’s to treat tourists.

Very good location, layout, and design. The apartment was super clean and the host was most gracious in accommodating us last minute. We had plenty of coffee for breakfast, the place was very quiet and spacious.

Bed was uncomfortable and sheets felt like they had contained plastic. They were also too small for the mattress, so all night, as we slept, they kept riding up. The shower is also very tight and there are no shelves/ledges inside to place shampoo while you shower.

Great location just a few steps (literally) from the main street in Modica. Spacious sleeping area, adequate dining area and kitchen. Closet for clothes as well as a chest of drawers which was nice to have for a longer stay. plenty of electrical outlets for charging devices, and the WiFi was pretty reliable. Heating/cooling units in the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Well-stocked kitchen with good selection of dishes, pots and pans and some basic staples like salt and pepper, olive oil and coffee. Espresso machine and microwave were nice to have as well. Host was very helpful and kind, though we did not meet in person. As a side note, Easter and the week preceding it are a great time to spend in Modica.

The shower was quite small and the main bed was not very comfortable. I don’t know if the mattress was older or just not very supportive. There is also a lack of natural light in the apartment, but that didn’t bother us too much, and can’t be helped with the way the buildings are situated.
