"Very disappointed experience, description not very honest"

The pictures of the studio (“monolocale”) show a lot of light coming from the windows ( Photoshop?) and nothing is specified on the description (!!) but the apartment is actually under the ground floor and so dark inside. There was no microwave and no kettle. However, David, the tenant, had the kindness to relocate us for free as we were very disappointed- for 3 nights out of 4 to a bigger apartment more confortable (with AC, microwave and washing machine). They should specified it on the add because a client shouldn’t be guessing it from the pictures. It was not cheap either (about 500€ for 4 nights!) The trash & recycling system in Italy is quite different from Belgium where we live. When we arrived David forgot to explain to us that we had to bring out the trash and forgot to show where to in the building. We tried to separate (there was no different colored trash bags to help) regular from glass / paper / plastic. We have a 11month baby so some diapers were in the non recycled trash. When we were about to leave the premises, putting stuff downstairs, the cleaning lady came to find us to tell us that we needed to take the trash out and that we made a mess. I speak Italian but it is not my mother tong. My Italian husband was busy with our son. I came up right away to the apartment to collect the trash (2 min max) and found all the dirty diapers on the kitchen floor alongside with other garbage…! Although she could have explain nicely to me the system, she was very agressive, spoke to me in a very rude manner. I was very shocked and I tried to tell her that I didn’t know anything about the system and that I didn’t speak perfect Italian. Unbelievable to be treated like that as a client, and again I tried my best to respect the instructions.

"We enjoyed our stay a lot even though it was extremely hot duruing our stay"

It had a nice kitchen with a reasonably sized fridge. It was only a short bike ride to the city center

place for bikes was limited. you could still put them near the place which had a roof but you had to accept that the bike would be in the rain in case of bad weather
