Very friendly host. Wonderful apartment that was clean and well stocked. One of our best stays as we walk the Via Francigena. Would stay here again.

"Affordable and spacious with nice hosts. A little hard to get around without a car."

Great apartment rented by owners. Very spacious with washing machine and clothesline, kitchen and living room. Small, quiet town. They left some fresh food, including fruit, eggs, and delicious walnuts with a nutcracker. Responsive owner.

A little hard getting to nearby towns by bus, especially on weekends. Best if you have your own car. Then it makes a nice base for Montalcino, Pienza, Bagno Vignoni, wineries, and other nearby attractions. The town is nice, but small. There are only 2 full-service restaurants, one which serves home-cooked meals, the other good pizzas and pastas.

Spacious, comfortable, in walking distance to the cafe and restaurants, quiet place. In striking distance to fabulous places around. Plenty of hikes.
