Maqueda Apartments

Very clean and comfy apartment, well equipped and decorated with love. Great central location, nice balcony.

Since the apartment is on first floor facing a main street, it is very loud at all times. This is not the owners fault of couse and people who know Palermo would have been aware of this. I was not, so sleeping was a bit difficult. But the owner provides earplugs.

Very convenient location to discover the city, but it also means you get street noise until very late at night.

We had read the reviews regarding noise but we didn't hear any with the shutter closed. The apartment exceeded expectations and Flavia has so much local knowledge. Would recommend. The apartment is modern and clean. We had the Sun apartment. It has Aircon and heating

No complaints at all. The stairwell was old fashioned but we felt very safe in the block

Superb location you can reach most of must see places within 10-15 minutes. Gets a bit noisy at night as it’s on main pedestrian street with bars and restaurants.

Location space decor clean

The property was on the main thoroughfare which was very exciting and you could watch all the buzz of Palermo but it could also be noisy late into Sunday night early morning.

The location is great, close to everything in Palermo and it takes about 40 minutes by bus to get to Mondello Beach. Many restaurants are within close reach. The host is very nice and responds very quickly! Thank you for everything :)

The street the apartment is located on is EXTREMELY loud. Cars pass with very loud music on at 2 am, and that's happening every night! Also, be aware there is no washing machine (I know the booking page doesn't say there is but we kind of assumed there would be one based on previous experiences) so booking for longer stays may be a bit problematic.

It is situated in close proximity to the main attractions, as well as a variety of esteemed restaurants and bars.

As the apartment is centrally located, I have noticed a significant amount of noise, particularly during the night. It appears that concerts or events are taking place in the vicinity, which can be disruptive, especially for individuals with children.

Just as advertised! Balcony with view of one of Palermo’s busy streets with several bars and restaurants to choose from. Perfect location, lovely flat with enough space for the 3 of us, clean conditions and easy to access. Flavia is an excellent host!

Flávia is a great host, always helpful and responsive. The apartment is very cosy and handy, in the heart of Centro storico - via Maqueda and Via Vittorio Emmanuelle are pedestrians street, so with lots of restaurants, very lively nightlife and safe. If you're looking for calmness and silence this is definitely not the spot! :)
