Beautiful view, beds were confortable.

Heating was not on when we came and it was cold. We would have liked to have single duvets for each person, not a large duvet for two persons.

the apartment was lovely & the location was spot on

the second bedroom accessibility was not very good for us but we managed to use the sofa bed instead. also the pool closed 2 days after our arrival & we didn’t get the chance to use it :(

Perfect property, it has everything you needed. The host communicated really well. I would highly recommend this booking. The location is both a plus and minus. The views are absolutely incredible, it's nestled in the mountains and is absolutely stunning, by virtue of these positives it means it is a little tucked away and so if you are relying on public transport it's worth doing your research before going. Once we got the hang of it it worked just fine for us.

The big draw here is the view, and it doesn't disappoint. Pictures don't do it justice. Lovely balcony. Spacious living area. A few pastries and milk/juice available on arrival. There is a pool that looked nice, but we couldn't try it due to weather, and similar story for the BBQ. Location-wise, Menaggio is about a 5 minute drive (not walkable due to narrow mountain roads with traffic and no pedestrian path), and is an ideal jumping off point to see places like Varenna and Bellagio via ferry without the massive crowds and higher prices of those towns. Parking is included at the apartment, but can be challenging in Menaggio especially on weekends. We never met the host, but she was responsive via WhatsApp.

The washing machine was broken during our stay (host stated the replacement part was on the way, so we were just unlucky in timing). We found the sofa to be worn and a bit uncomfortable (cushions constantly sliding out from under us). The master bedroom mattress and bedding could be improved (e.g. flat pillows) in terms of comfort.

We loved this apartment. It had everything we needed, large, spatious, the balcony is overlooking the lake with a wonderful view. The neighbourhood is beautiful and quiet.

The apartment not only met our expectations but exceeded them in every way. It provided all the comforts and conveniences we anticipated, and the stunning view of the lake and mountains surpassed anything we could have imagined. Additionally, the host was exceptionally kind, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The apartment is big, comfortable and is well equipped. The host helped us with all we needed. The view is amazing 💕
