GIARDINO SUL MARE

The house is in the garden and there are also some views of the sea. The apartment is big enough with a kitchenette. The apartment was warm, which we appreciated, because the weather was not ideal. There was an extra sofa bed we could use. The host was nice and welcoming and a selection of food for breakfast was on offer. We appreciated that we could park our car in the street nearby.

Thank you Miria and Andrea, both of you have made our holiday(8 nights) so memorable and sharing your paradise with visitors like us! How? They offered us a cosy apartment in their terraced dwelling with a breathtaking view of the Amalfi Coast, till Capri Island and Faraglioni. It is strategically located in Amalfi Coast with peace and tranquillity. [Strategic = SS 366 & famous SS 163; Hikes: Path of the Gods, San Lazzaro/Castello Lauritano, Torre dello Ziro; Easy access by own car/SITA bus or shuttle service by Meria😉] There is even the possibility of free car parking, which is a rarity here. At night, when the glass doors are opened, one is lulled to sleep by the sound of waves, the occasional hooting of owls and the fresh air from the Tyrrhenian Sea. The apartment is nicely renovated, decorated and spacious. Sea view from the bedroom, kitchen/dining room and also, the bathroom. A spacious balcony with the ample opportunity of soaking in the sun, stroked by the fresh breeze from sea and mountain and of course, the ever-changing view of the coast. The hostess, Miria and Andrea are extremely responsive to our needs. Both are fluent in English. Miria assisted us with our Sentiero del Degli/Path of the Gods hike incl. the weather forecast and also, drop/pick-up service. She dropped us at Bomerano and we hiked till via Arienzo /Positano. Then, we took bus 5070 (heading to Solerno) and stopped at Bivio Lone for her to pick us up. We communicated with Miria via Whatsapp and she was there waiting for us. Everything went so perfectly! Besides, at a very reasonable fee. Also, our gourmet culinary dining experience by Andrea. He prepared us dinner almost every night but of course, subject to his availability. In our view, he is definitely our Michelin ⭐️⭐️⭐️Chef. We asked him to prepare us “Surprise dinners” and he definitely exceeded our expectations. Our unforgettable gourmet experience with “Master Chef”, Andrea. Authentic!

The family were excellent hosts. They have a full menu, breakfast lunch dinner. The food was excellent! Stunning view.

The noise from the other guests I could hear through the walls. I know that’s not the owners fault, but you shouldn’t have to go on vacation and sleep with earplugs and a pillow over your head.

Beautiful appartment with breath taking view. Very clean and very comfortable. Our host Andrea served us some delicious dinner.We had 2 dogs with us and could walk them in the garden. (Otherweise there is no green in the area where you can walk the dog) There is private car parking available but unfortunately our 6 m camper didn't fit in there. We just parked on the road across the entrance.

The property has a great view of the sea, Miria was an extraordinary host, everything was clean and the breakfast was amazing!

Really enjoyed my stay! Andrea and Miria were very helpful and welcoming. The house had everything we needed and is at such a good location. Food at the house was amazing, with really good prices. Highly recommend staying here if you’re going to Amalfi!!

An absolute find. Best balcony view of the bay/sea - and fabulously welcoming hosts. Full menu available if you don’t want to head back into Amalfi. We had prawn/lemon risotto and then grilled squid; freshly sourced - and their own wine.
