GBThe apartment was well located, with a comfortable bed. It was a bonus to have a kitchen/living area and water pressure in the bathroom was good.
The apartment wasn't ready at check-in - we had to wait for 15 minutes in the entry hall for the cleaners to finish. There is construction work outside and scaffolding prevented the shutters in the bedroom from being closed. The apartment smelled really strongly of fish when we arrived which I appreciate is out of the control of the owners, but it was very unpleasant and stopped us from using the kitchen/living room on the first day while we aired the room out.

ROOnce we found the exact address, it was easy.
The pin on Google Maps was not accurate and it was not that easy to find, but maybe because we arrived late in the evening. Eventually everything was ok. But reaching the last floor on stairs was pretty uncomfortable for my 75 yo mom.

DEThe worst experience we ever had. The toilet overflowed on the second day and flooded the entire bathroom – extremely unhygienic, so we had to leave immediately. The building is under construction, very difficult to find, and there are many stairs (not suitable for luggage or strollers). Only positive point: we got a refund after contacting Booking.
GRThe apartment is situated in an ideal location. The very center of Bologna, within walking distance of any of the following: 1) Historic attractions 2) Recreational facilities 3) Train and bus terminals. This allowed us to split our days spent in Italia between visiting attractions in Bologna and visiting other cities via train or bus. Having the Guasto apartment as a base, we visited Bologna, Venezia, Firenze and Modena. If any of the aforementioned factors wasn't present, such a trip wouldn't have happened. Regarding practical issues, I can say with absolute responsibility that a family of 5 can live very comfortably in it. Its size, rooms and amenities rival those of our own home. One of my kids even told me that they wish to swap our place for it. It's that good.
The building is historical, thus old. The walls are thin.

Il fatto che avessi prenotato una struttura differente... e non ci sia stato detto altro che "eh.. l'altra è prenotata da tempo" pur avendo io prenotato mesi fa... (mi pare di capire che la struttura in se gestisca molti appartamenti e non ha minimamente senso che due case diverse abbiano lo stesso nome e che si carichino le foto assieme... uno crede di prenotare una struttura invece prenota altro... ma sono fermamente convinto di aver scelto l'opzione del trilocale e non del bilocale... questo ha compromesso fortemente il nostro soggiorno) Poi... Le modalità di check-in... spiegate male e gestite peggio...
