Casamassimi apartment

Very central location, right in the heart of the old town, aprox. a 10 min walk from the nearest bus station. The host got in touch on WhatsApp, often checking in on us and sending us helpful recommendations throughout our stay.

The bathroom is a bit small but that is understandable in an old building.

Great location (with very nice focaccia and pizza in 2 mins of walk) clean & modern place and the host was easy to communicate with.

The bathroom is a little overcrowded and not ideal for taller people. The nearby square is a bit noisy before midnight, but overall no big issue.

The bedroom was lovely and spacious, very comfy bed. It's about a 15/20 minute walk from the station, so not ideal with heavy luggage. Coming from the station a taxi is easy to secure, but heading from the apartment to the station it's not easy. The taxi number we were given did not work and the taxi rank we were directed to was deserted, not a taxi in sight which led us to missing our flix bus 😔 Definitely bear that in mind when booking depending on your luggage.

Very small bathroom - this didn't bother us because we were only staying one night, but might be more of an issue if you were staying longer.

Very good location in the old town, near to cosy Largo Albicocca square with delicious pizza. Orechiette are just done under the balcony. The owner give you directions how to get to the apartment from the airport.

Perfect location in the old town, at walking distance from the main square and lots of restaurants and bars. The owner was very easy to communicate with, and was regularly checking if we needed anything. He even sent us a lots of recommendations! Little plus: the ladies making orecchiette in front of your door! The flat has everything you need.

The bathroom is a bit small, but it's in the old town which is what you can expect. There could be a bit of noise in the morning from the mamma at the window chatting, but personally we loved it.

sleeping in is a bit difficult, because there are no shutters (or I could not find them at least 🤣)

Amazing location - 10-15mins away from the station. Lots of restaurants and coffee places in the area. Ladies making oricchiette in front of your door. The apartment is well equipped, with a nice terrace at the top floor of the building. Lovely, caring and helpful owner, who provided a lot of reccomendations of local restaurants - we didn't manage to go to all of them, but those that we've visited were fantastic. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Bari to get the authentic Italian experience. Definitely reccommended!
