The area felt safe, was quiet and the apartment was a decent size. The air con helped with the hot nights and everything worked correctly. The art and other house decorations made you feel comfortable and at home. There were also extras like a hairdryer and straighteners, a kettle, some snacks and kitchen and bathroom extras and essentials that were really appreciated.

Without a car it was tricky to get to the property from Pisa Centrale train station. It took about 40 minutes to walk or about 10 minutes (around 10 euros) by taxi. There are buses but as a tourist I would not recommend using them unless you know how to get the tickets beforehand (from a tobacco store) and how to stamp them immediately after getting on the bus (or you will be fined!) This was nothing to do with the host or the property though, this is just to warn other tourists staying in Pisa.
