Second time we stayed here, and Paulo, our host, kindly upgraded our apartment to a larger one with a cosy corner to watch TV from a sofa which can be convertible to another double bed. Excellent location with Europe's biggest outdoor market just behind the private courtyard the apartment overlooks. We loaded our car with fresh produce (cheese, fresh pasta, specialist vegetables like puntarelle, cima di rapa, Sicilian round aubergine, cardoncello mushrooms, and of course, various tomato varieties) before flying back home. Opposite side of the building leads to a lively street with many restaurants and wine bars. After a long drive and parking problems, we went to the closest restaurant directly opposite (Antico Balon) and weren't disappointed. Amazing pizza and calzone (pity they had sold out of the special polenta dish) and wine from their own winery in Alba. All in all, another wonderful stay and we will be back!

Someone took our pre-booked parking slot in the private courtyard (busy Friday night) and we wasted a lot of time deciding where to park instead. Paulo kindly offered to pay for a garage outside, but we had a lot of luggage (skis, etc) so didn't want to move. There was a slot closer to the gate which Paulo suggested us to take instead, but it was in front of the gate to the apartment and our car was too long for the space. In the end, we parked along the wall in front of the car who had taken our slot (but enough space for it to exit without hitting ours) and next morning when the parking became half empty, moved our car to a proper parking slot on the side of our building. Paulo kindly waved the 10 euro parking charge to compensate our experience, which was a very nice gesture.

Location. We wanted to visit the largest open-air market in Europe right next to the property, and were looking for a place with private secure parking. The first floor apartment was overlooking the courtyard (parking), and the building looked very historical (exposed brick vault in beautiful condition). You don't hear the market noise as it is behind the buildings opposite the courtyard. The bedroom is facing a lively street with full of restaurants and wine bars buzzing with lots of customers. We stayed on Sunday and found it surprisingly quiet when going to bed.

The parking was amazing but the gate is quite narrow so driving a large vehicle could be quite stressful.

THE LOCATION SUPERB, THE INTERIOR IS WOW, LOVED IT AND THANKS A BUNCH FOR PERFECT PARKING! The details in the apartments made our stay comfortable, pleasing and happy. Would return to this place again!

Nice apartment, we had everything we needed. The location was really good too and the host was really kind.

A bit noisy because there are some bars near the property.

Great location, close to the market and the Palace with a lively square in the evening right in front of the doorstep.

Fantastic apartment and location as the outside street comes to life around 7pm and transforms into a great atmosphere.

Parking, poor, and not liked by the locals. Had my rear windscreen wiper broken off during the night as I did not notice until we drove away in the morning. Aircon needed as really hot.

Great host, very helpful. Great accomodation - comfortable, warm and cosy. Perfect.

We were there on the weekend, so it was a bit noisy at night.

The apartment was lovely lots of detail everything you need. Great location
