Podere Ferranino at Ville Ferrano

Huge 2 story apartment. Great location for Monticino and Montepulciano. Secure parking with an electric gate. Very well furnished. Very nice and responsive hosts. Quiet. Big pool for hot days. Good internet, fast enough. Very nice kitchen with high end oven range and entire apartment VERY clean - American standard clean. Amazing value for this place in the heart of Tuscany.

Not much to dislike. In an ideal world the property might have a paved road to keep the cars clean but its rural Tuscany, dirt roads are the norm in the countryside. Honestly just no real negatives for this property.

Converted carriage house restored to create a number of apartments. Exceptional quality of finish and fittings inside and out. Large quiet bird filled open spaces with a lovely pool area and terraces. Short 2 minute walk to the neighbouring Ville Ferrano for a good breakfast. We were lucky to have the lovely owner and host Patricia to greet us and show us around.

Superb apartment facing the swimming pool. We (family of 4) stayed for one week, and I would definitely suggest it. Rooms are large and comfortable, the structure and interiors faithful to their original setting, and the atmosphere in the terrace just great.

One minus was probably the host reception. Although, as requested by the host, we made sure to inform about our exact arrival time, which was not easy given that we were coming from the South of Italy through a pretty long journey, we found nobody at the property. We called the host, who said she would reach us in 2 or 3 minutes. Still, we waited for few minutes in 36°C, which was not ideal. Secondly, the host walked us to our apartment, but basically opened the door and showed us the main living room space, said few words on the WIFI and other facilities, and that was it. All the hosts that we have met across the years in Italy are proudly inclined to welcome you with few words on the property, they would walk you around and explain the historical heritage. Non of this was given, and the reception was very cold and detached, barely cordial. Bur apart from this, everything else was excellent.

We loved the design of the building, location and the wonderful shared pool. Great staff that were so helpful with anything we needed.

We loved everything although it is a bumpy ride up to the property on the track. This may not be suitable for all cars.

Great renovated apartment in gorgeous old building. Stunning view over Tuscan countryside and absolutely fabulous pool.Dagmar the property manager speaks English and is so helpful and available 24/7. A wonderful base for exploring Tuscany.

Very smooth, lovely people met us at the property The property is large, secure, very clean and tidy and pretty luxurious too its positioned in a perfect location for walks from the hotel and 10-20 mins from some of the most picturesque places in Tuscany

The setting was superb and rooms/bathrooms clean and welcoming.

For a group of five, it was disappointing to have minimal supply of basic things such as toilet paper. Our stove was difficult to light (even the cleaner had difficulty) and kitchen items (toaster too ages!) outdated (old kettle heating on stovetop) considering the Villa was upmarket. We had leftovers (from previous guests) oil, pepper and salt etc and again for the type of venue this seemed a little “mean”. A basket of local goodies from the region, modern barbecue, some updating of kitchen equipment would have left a very different impression.
