My wife and I rarely rate a hotel or an apartment 10 (out of 10), but in the case of the Appartamento Il Castello we are giving it the highest rating. There are several reasons for that. In the first place it is very easy to settle down in the apartment-- it's very well equipped, the lift/elevator works well, the arrangement is logical, there is sufficient place, and there is no clutter. Everything -- including the Wi-Fi -- is straightforward and works properly. In addition the apartment is in excellent condition and is furnished simply but nicely. We also found the location of the apartment to be extremely convenient. On the one hand we could easily walk to restaurants and to tourist sights, and on the other hand (thanks to the advice of Stefano) we were able to park nearby at no cost and to easily drive off and return. The apartment looks out on to a vast parking area and, just beyond that, the extensive Castello. Thanks to its large windows and contemporary design, the apartment is bright and airy and feels fresh and welcoming. There is a major market twice a week, and then for eight hours the parking area is transformed into a sea of tents and stalls. Fortunately neither the market nor the parking generated significant noise or congestion. There are excellent food stores very nearby, and a major supermarket is only a couple hundred meters away. The check-in and check-out were easy.

All was very good, some small improvements could be made: bathroom could have some shelving for bathroom products, windows should all have net covers, all lights in the flat are too bright, it would be nice if there were less harsh.

Very clean and decorated to a good specification. Good shower and plenty of wardrobe space in bedroom. Didn't use kitchen much, but everything seemed to be there if I had wanted to. Didn't meet owner in person, but he was available by text and checked in to see if I needed anything. Good location with Casale life going on around it with bars and shops nearby.
