Casa Giovanna Positano

The host met us, helped carry bags and set up our parking for our car. The space was beautiful, both in a historic building, but even more with patio views that were incredibly stunning. Beyond the wonderful space, the hosts were helpful with restaurant ideas, helped me do the Path of the Gods hike, and was just fun to chat with.

The house is spacious, good layout, very charming and comfortable. The yard is big with nice outdoor furniture and an amazing view of Positano town and harbor. The house has everything you need especially for extended stay (kitchen with nice size refrigerator, stove stop, microwave, washing machine…)The walk to town is beautiful from the house. David our host is fantastic with quick response to my emails and ready to help with whatever we need

The secondary bathroom could use a shower curtain. But I can see that would not be a problem for someone who like to soak in a bathtub

The place has lots of room in the bedroom, common areas and bathroom. It's clean and our host was very helpful!

Quite a hike to get to the place.

Beautiful location for overlooking down on Positano. Up 200 steps after climbing road. But that's the nature of Positano and part of the adventure!

Surprised at the noise at night...area nightclub can be heard until midnight. But....fireworks were a bonus!

David was very helpful. For groceries, he recommended a great place that delivered to the house saving us having to lug it up. Also, he helped us arrange car service to and from Rome which was invaluable. Views from the property are great.

Accessibility is a bit challenging as it is not on the main road and you will need to do a fair bit of stair climbing. Same with Positano in general, get ready for a lot of uphill walking!

Amazing views from the (low down) porthole windows and generous patio with killer view. Very comfortable large bedrooms, very strong AC which was much needed. David gave us great local recommendations (go to the Fornillo Beach which is quieter, and better in my opinion). The apartment had beach towels, beach umbrella and some tea making facilities.

Lots of steps but no fault of theirs! Just an FYI, while David was amazing to organize a car valet to pick and drop off your car, but 2 days of parking was 160 Euro, ouch! The price you pay for convenience I guess.

We loved the fantastic location, the beautiful shaded patio and the exceptional view. Air conditioning was wonderful when needed. David and his father were so friendly and helpful.
