CASA DUCHESSE al Castello

A beautiful roomy apartment with high beamed ceilings and huge windows in a more than 600 year old Pallazo next to Castello Estense. The washing machine and dish washer were very handy and it was great to have such a big bed, air conditioning and a bath. The owner was friendly and helpful.

The apartment was spacious and well stocked: tea, coffee pods, and little touches like paper towels and aluminium foil, and balsamic vinegar and olive oil made it so easy to relax. The lift is big enough for two plus luggage. There are two toilets too which is super convenient. Good washing machine, dishwasher and stove. Little oven thing that worked fine to heat our focaccia. Doris was also very friendly and helpful.

Can’t think of anything actually

Location is ideal. Central and yet super quiet. Bedroom is large and bedding is lovely and comfortable.

The apartment was very clean, quiet and comfortable, right in the centre of Ferrara. It was easy to contact the host Doris to organise getting into the apartment and although we didn't meet she was very attentive, sending messages to ensure that everything was OK and also provided excellent recommendations for eating places. The apartment had everything we needed and we had a great holiday.

Everything was perfect.

Clean, comfortable, and extremely well equipped. The location is excellent. It was a very straightforward walk from the train station. Doris is a fabulously friendly host - and makes exceptionally good torte!
