La Casa di Celeste

I loved the Italian feel, everything you needed. bus stops right outside, as well as ferry stops just up the road.

In some parts the property is a little tired and could do with a little TLC.

the apartment was in a beautiful location, well looked after and perfectly clean.

Nice location with a well equipped kitchen and lovely view. There was a nice coffee machine and the area was relatively quiet.

Lacked some equipment such as soap holders, kitchen towels, dishwasher liquid and plug sockets… the wool comforter did not feel hygienic and was full of dust mites. Some parts of the bathroom had not been cleaned properly and there was a faint sewer smell near the bathroom for our entire stay. Lastly, the battery in the heating system was empty and we were not able to heat ourselves. It was a cool and rainy evening… the host did not assist us at all, first affirming heating was illegal, and then concluding that as there were no spare batteries in the apartment, we would just have to cope. Very disappointing.

The location

Nothing much. The shower was leaking and a bit broken.

Finding the car park was very difficult even with the detailed instructions because it was not clear on the photo that the entrance to the car park was through a small entrance and not to go straight up the ramp. Also the satnav coordinates were wrong and took you to California! We had to replace some characters to make it work which cost us over an hour of driving around searching for the property. Also to get from the other short term free car park nearer the apartment, we had to walk in a very busy narrow road which we felt was dangerous and intimidating. Glad we didn’t bring the kids due to this. It was not clear at all in the listing

The location was very good. I loved the apartment and it's homey feeling. The space was large for two people and very clean, great amenities and we enjoyed the games provided.

The bed was not my favourite as it was memory foam but some people might like that. Could maybe provide another heating solution for very cold months.

Clean, cozy rooms. Fine location. Right on the Greenway route. Kitchen with everything you may need. Tasty coffee. Quick communication with the host.

The property was wonderfully located, except that we drove in at night and had troubles finding it at first despite good directions. Very clean and importantly, warm. The owners stayed up until we found it, which was late. All was lovely

Had I been staying longer than a few days, it would have been nice to have a washing machine, but really there was nothing not to like.

Absolutely loved the stay. Gave us such an authentic feel for the little Town/Village of Ossuccio in Lake Como. The owners also checked in via email to make sure all was well and good. The apartment is well equiped and layed out. We were here during winter and it was well heated too. Wish we stayed longer

There really isn't much to fault but I would just suggest that linen and towels are upgraded but it did not hinder our stay
