TaoMau - Duomo Square

We loved the space, the location, and the helpful owner, who furnished us with an excellent list of local restaurants and bars that we loved. He also kept in touch during our stay, drawing our attention to the Good Friday procession and checking if we needed anything. The bed was comfortable, the multiple balconies were lovely, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the living room was as cozy.

There were a few fiddly processes involved in booking, including paying a deposit via a third party (which was refunded promptly once we left) and paying €30 in cash for local tourist taxes, but these were minor annoyances. Our only other minor gripe was the absence of a few things we’re used to properties of this nature providing: body wash for showers, coffee pods for the coffee maker, and dishwasher tablets, for example. The garbage process is a bit fiddly, but at is Taormina’s quirk, not the property’s.

The property was in a fantastic location extremely close to the main road in the old city of Taormina. Making it easily accessible when we went out during the day and we could go back to rest before heading out for the evening. It has a large balcony that stretches across the property. The car park underneath made it really easy to drive right up to the property into a secure car park. The communication and organisation of the property manager Maurizio was excellent? Responding quickly and effectively to any of our questions? We had a wonderful and relaxing stay in this property.

We loved everything. Location, brand new furnished an fully equipped apartment, car park option. And Maurizio made the big difference with his kindness and availability. A place to return for sure!

Location

The location is fantastic as you are right in the centre and can easily walk everywhere. The apartment was great with a young family as it was a good size and had all the necessary facilities you need. Being able to use the garage was also a huge benefit.
