Il Sogno Apartments

Location was amazing and close to the beach and train station but away from the business of the touristic traffic. Shops, cafe's and restaurants all within easy walking distance as well as the train station to access the other towns of cinque terre.

That the shower leaked and left a puddle on the tiles everywhere. Also not too big of an issue but would've been nice to know apartment was up 1 flight of stairs with no lift access. This would've helped with knowing what luggage to bring it. Photo of premise was great. Maybe also include in the description that the flight of stairs leading to the apartment is between building xx and xx. The buildings either side of the staircase had numbers. Include dishwashing liquid or handwash/soap in the room. Parking cost us $25euro for a 24 hour period which was a bit steep considering room costing as well. Parking was close but not onsite.

The location was great.

The shower head and handle we're defective, and the door did not open and close easily.

It was a simple, clean and well located apartment, very quiet as it was up a road away from the busy town, which is important in the Cinque Terra as the towns fill up so quickly with visiting tourists from the boats, it was in a neighbourhood rather than in the heart of the busy tourist areas, and was more like a local apartment than a hotel. It was simple and had all the basics and so was an easy place to stay. It was not trendy nor fancy. We loved the town of Monterosso with its two halves and its beautiful beach and lovely restaurants, a very good place to stay on the Cinque Terra.

The facilities in the cupboards for cooking or making and serving food

Good apartment as a base. pleasant balcony, overall light and airy apartment. Nice location a bit back from the main tourism hot spots, but still close.

Bathroom slightly dated and shower leaked water a bit. Kitchen not super well equipped, but functional.

Great location in the heart of the old town, five minutes walk from the beach. Very comfortable beds with a good sized outside deck/terrace. Air conditioned, perfect for hot weather.

Need a much bigger clothes line for wet beach and bathroom towels etc. Also a little more storage for some food would be helpful. Otherwise the kitchen was pretty well set up.
