San Bartolo Rent Apartments, due passi da Firenze

The owners had been outstandingly kind and helpful. The apartment was optimally organized and equipped. We had a wonderful stay there.

Hosts were very helpful and replied quickly to messages before and during our stay. My husband and I slept on the sofa bed in the living/dining/kitchen area. It was surprisingly comfortable. We were worried about the lack of AC during a heat wave but the nights were cooler in this location and the fans we were provided kept us comfortable. My mosquito-magnet husband appreciated the window screens. Laundry in the apt with a clothes line in the back yard. A 2-minute walk to a bar where we had breakfast and bought sandwiches, groceries and tickets for the bus into Florence, which stops right across the street. The hosts provided bus schedules and other helpful info.

The return bus from Florence can be tricky (some have a shortened route that doesn't stop here). It's a short extra walk but confusing if you're not expecting the change. Maybe the hosts can help you plan for this.
