"Ideal apartment for visiting Matera"

There were two couples and all agreed Il Profumo dei Sassi is exceptionally good value for the price. What stood out was: the alacrity of replies from Francesco, the owner, and his helpfulness the cleanliness and amenities of the apartment as well as the fact that there is plenty of light in every room due to windows and doors facing outside the ideal location - Piazza Vittorio Veneto is a 5 or 10-minute walk the price and the fact that Francesco provides accurate indications on where to park for free, no mean feat! the attention to detail, water and milk in the fridge, continental breakfast food available, including Lavazza coffee machine and an assortment of teas fully functional kitchen clean bathroom with window and good shower, towel rack that doubles as drying rack in winter

We all agreed we liked everything about the apartment and would like to return for a longer stay as Matera merits it.

"Modern spacious apartment on the edge of the Sassi District."

Spacious and modern apartment 5 minutes walk from the edge of the Sassi area. Breakfast supplied.

Parking wasn't super easy. Found one spot in a "for payment" zone but it wasn't particularly expensive.

"Superb"

Very good contact with the host. Apartment clean. Well equipped for a large group. A typical Italian breakfast - sweet but made of ready-made chemical products in foil.

The problem for us was late check-in and early check-out without the possibility of leaving the luggage in the storage

"Comfortable, easy and very quick response from our host."

Location was good. Spacious apartment with plenty of room to stretch out. Very clean and pleasant. Quiet from street noise. Close to a grocery store. Friendly tenants we met. Decor was lovely. Water was kindly provided.

We needed a lift, but the host’s daughter let us in and carried our luggage up.
