Ortigia Charme piazza Duomo

Muy buena ubicación, Angelo muy atento cuando lo necesitamos. Nos ayudo con el permiso para cicular por la zona restringida. El piso esta nuevo con todo lo necesario para pasar una linda estadía. Volveria sin duda

La ubicación es excelente, en pleno centro de Ortigia y muy cerca de Piazza Duomo, ideal para moverse caminando y disfrutar de la zona. El alojamiento es bonito, cómodo y perfecto para pasar unos días en Siracusa. También nos gustó mucho la facilidad del check-in y la comunicación con el anfitrión.

El buen gusto en la decoración y lo bien que estuvo aprovechado el lugar Muy limpio. Bien equipado. Camas cómodas Que haya un baño principal y un toilette La ubicación excelente. El anfitrión permanentemente se comunicaba con nosotras.

The location was very central - v close to Piazza Duomo. Crowded and touristy area but off the main drag.

Check in inefficient, delayed and room unready. Communication v v slow and poor. When I first arrived at a pre-agreed time, the keysafe was empty but the cleaning lady was not there. There was no connectivity so I could not reach the host by phone. Had to leave luggage in a public corridor and go out then send message. owner called me 30 mins later and asked me to go back as cleaner was there. She was, but the room was far from ready. Eventually, I discovered that the overhead shower didn't work as the knob for it didn't press; + no hot water; the AC did not work till 19.18 pm; mosquitoes buzzing; the coffee machine was broken, didn't work but split water all around; the so called cookers didn't work, the kitchenette drawers were full of dust, the wardrobes were full of not v clean linen and household cleaners etc; the wifi password I was sent (after several requests) was wrong; the correct wifi was worked out later by the cleaning lady - the owner seemed uninterested and clueless - but there was no connctivity on normal phone. Owner said 'it will connect near the window' - it did not. The promised 'balcony' - which attarcted me to the flat - was non-existent. The window could not be opebed as it is on the GF and hordes of people walking past; the light inside was just a white fluorescent light, no bedside lights or sockets. The owner kept saying 'Everything is fine' when it clearly was not. He claimed the shower wasn't working because there was no water rpessure in all of ortigia,'it's an oritiga problem' - but I have moved to another B&B here and there is no problem with water. My friends are in another b&b and again, water pressure fine, shower works. Owner did put on the heating of the water so there was hot water in the morning after, but by then I had had enough and could not stay there.

Very clean, comfortable mattress, and a great central location in the historic center. The host is very helpful and nice!
