Fantastic location wirh the view of Christmas illuminations on Cathedral facade. Lovely balcony to sip morning coffee while watching people passing by. Old apartment which is like a little museum. All necessary facilities available. Very good contact with the host who was also elastic with check out time.

The location was great, just inside the pedestrian zone. The apartment was big and well maintained. Nice view of the square

Soil kept dropping onto the balcony. I think this was from the pigeons playing in the plant pots on the balcony above. The A/C's didn't seem to work very well. They probably just need servicing.

Excellent location. Sicilian weddings in the duomo almost every day, with very beautiful flowers and people. The apartment is very comfortable, family photographs add character and warmth. Lots of help from the manager, LUCA MANGANO — very professional and kind.

We had a great stay at Casa Antica Savoia. It is an authentic, well equipped apartment in a great spot in Taormina and very close to everything. It was lovely sitting on the balcony enjoying the atmosphere of the piazza. Great communication at all times with the agent, who also met us on arrival to hand over the keys and explain everything about the apartment. Aircon was a definite bonus.

Does get quite noisy late at night given close proximity of a number of restaurants, it didn’t bother us at all, but might concern others.

Very cosy apartment at a very central location in Taormina, by the cathedral square. It was richly decorated, with family pictures and pictures from old Taormina on almost every wall. The living room opens on to the square Piazza del Duomo and ensures you can watch the whole town pass by, if you like. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, but I must mention Da Cristina right by. It is frequented by locals.

The bedroom doesn't shield noise from the street. I didn´t find out how to close the outer shutters, which probably would have eliminated most of the noise, but the popularity of aforementioned Da Cristina and the location made sure there were noisy people in the street until around 1am, and at 6am the bin men came clanging for a good 15 minutes.

We felt that it was not designed for letting due to the overwhelming presence of the owner’s possessions This is particularly the case with the kitchen which was cluttered and where crockery and cutlery felt dated No tea pot or toaster Very few glasses Pillows and bedding prevented proper sleep Using the oven created a power failure We were required to access the main electrical system in the common stairway to reset the circuit breaker on two occasions Thus unable to use the oven and grill Although out with the owner’s control, it was very noisy well into the early morning

A real Sicilian experience in a family home. Close to all you want to do in Taormina. I hope to return.
