Dimora storica - Palazzo del Taja

This apartment is ideally located to explore Siena. It’s very central, clise to the private secure parking, and surrounded by shops and restaurants. A lovely short stroll to the key points of interest. We loved everything about the property - it’s inside a historical building and has been restored to a very high standard, super spacious, elegantly furnished, massive main bathroom, very comfortable bed, and very well equipped. The owner was very easy to communicate with also

This apartment is in a great location in Siena. It is beautifully appointed and extremely clean. The bed was super comfortable and the owner, Giulio, is an excellent host. He is a very personable and considerate gentleman, who met us at the apartment to give us the key and show us the amenities that included two great bathrooms, one with a jacuzzi tub, an expresso machine with pods, and a complementary bottle of wine. He made a private parking space available to us for a very reasonable fee. There was nothing we needed that wasn't available at this apartment. We highly recommend this property.

Old Siena prohibits automobiles from driving to the property even to drop-off luggage, and while the distance from the parking lot to the apartment is not terribly far, the walk is extremely steep with many steps. I would suggest taking the owner's suggestion and allow him to arrange a transport from the parking garage to the apartment as taxis are permitted in the ancient town. Obviously, the elevation change is beyond the control of the host, and this comment should not be taken as a negative toward the property.

Nothing it was gorgeous

We had a wonderful stay in Siena at this property. Francesca met us and helped us with luggage. She walked us through the apt and explained all the amenities. She helped us so much with taxis an if we needed it---reservations. The property was wonderful A washer AND a dryer! Such a treat. We loved the location and the apt was so comfy after living in small rooms in hotels and other BnBs. Good TV, good security and internet. Could not be happier with the property. Would happily stay here again in a minute. Thx Francesca for being a wonderful host.

The apartment is modern, beautifully designed, and spacious. We enjoyed the comfort and cool quiet after the busy streets of Siena. Every amenity is provided - from espresso coffee to complementary Chianti. The bed is comfortable, bathrooms are luxurious, and the kitchen is well planned.

The apartment had everything we needed from coffee pods to Dyson & bath robes to drying rack! It appears that no expense has been spared in the finish.

Wonderful hosts. A wonderful 5 star experience staying at Palazzo del Taja. Great location. So much nicer than staying in a hotel. Complimentary bottle of wine left for us which was a really nice touch. Family trip from Ireland for wedding in Siena 🇮🇪
