Historic Centre - Apartment Near Teatro Massimo

The location of the apartment is great. It's close to the center of old town, and to public transportation. It was coasy. It was a hot week with temperatures over 30 degrees, but it has AC so that is no problem. Good and quiet neighbors. Apartment is on the second floor and building has tiny elevator. In the end very happy with the object :)

The location is great for seeing Teatro Massimo, Quattro Canti, Pretoria Fontana, Via Maqueda, and so much more!

The host was late showing up even after me confirming my arrival a few times. When the host showed up, the property still had to be cleaned. Which the host only took 20 mins to do. Which by the end the host had worked up a sweat and that’s how the bed linens were changed. There was a dead bug on the wall, and it definitely didn’t feel the kind of clean you would want after other people had stayed in the property. It wasn’t a hotel standard clean. I was so uncomfortable I actually called the host of the place I had just stayed at in Cefalu and was able to rent her place again for the next couple days. My last night in Sicily, I stayed at a due passi dal Massimo because it is closer to the airport, but I didn’t go near the bed, and placed the bath towels on the couch and used them to cover me since they were the only thing that actually smelled clean. Not to mention the balcony you see in the photos is a far cry from what you are actually getting. Your views are not of the street but other balconies. Very disappointing. Lovely little apartment in Sicily. Close to centre I would highly recommend

Central location

Was advertised as 2 bed but second sofa bed not made up and then he tried to charge us. We advised him in morning of arrival between 12 and 1 and got a response to say ok. On arrival we were told it would be another 2 hours. No kettle only pot to put on 2 ring stove. Water in handbasin didn't drain away properly so impossible to get hot water in sink

The host was excellent, he was very approachable and responsive. He arranged transport for us from the airport for a reasonable price and organised transport to a restaurant in Mondello and to the station when we left.

The flat was much more compact than we had understood from the pictures. The mezzanine bed was only 2-3 feet from the ceiling. When we arrived the fridge was filthy. However, as soon as we made the host aware he arranged for it to be cleaned and it was spotless.
