Tutto, è stato semplicemente perfetto, la dolcezza dei proprietari, la disponibilità e il luogo cosi pacioso hanno reso perfetto il nostro alloggio.

A sweet place with amazing vibes and a lovely pool. A charming villa divided into apartments, set within a beautiful olive grove. Very peaceful. We came as a family with four teenagers, and even though the facilities are officially for four people, six of us stayed (two on the sofa in the living room), and it was comfortable and pleasant. Andy and Claire are wonderful—always ready with recommendations and help with anything we needed. They even did laundry for us at a very modest price, and baked us a delicious lemon cake. We highly recommend this wonderful place.

We were absolutely thrilled with this accommodation – it’s even nicer than in the photos. Everything is beautifully and tastefully renovated, and the apartment stayed pleasantly cool even on hot days, so we didn’t even need to use the air conditioning. The hosts are incredibly kind and even baked us a delicious lemon cake. There is a pool, terrace, garden and barbecue available, private parking by the house, and complete peace and quiet. We also really appreciated the insect repellents plugged in in the rooms. It was simply wonderful.

The only thing to keep in mind is that there are horseflies in the area – but of course, this is something the hosts cannot control.

The apartment was well equipped and spacious and perfect for a family of four. The outdoor space was lovely with plenty of comfortable seating and the pool area was exceptional. It was located close to nice places to eat and drink.

Whilst this was not our first time staying in Palaia, this was the first time that we stayed at Podere dell'Alloro. First of all, the location is excellent, within easy reach of the village, which has a number of bars, restaurants, and food shops. For visiting various towns and tourist attractions, the location is ideally placed and within easy reach. The apartment was excellent and spotlessly clean. The facilities, were perfect with all the required utensils available, including toaster, kettle and both moka pot + cafetiere for coffee. Another bonus was a teapot. The gardens are beautifully cared for with plenty of comfortable seats / tables and the pool, with its sun loungers / covered seating area were very welcome. The addition of a barbecue for use by guests is a very thoughtful addition. Andy and Clare are excellent hosts and will assist with any requirements, including wine tasting excursions. Whilst we did not sample their meal options, we did hear that both Andy and Clare are great cooks and produce exceptional meals for their guests, upon request. We did have the opportunity to sample Clares Lemon Drizzle cake, which she kindly left in our apartment, which was superb. To conclude, Andy and Clare were great hosts, so much so that we are returning to visit them again in October. Book now and thank me later!

Podere dell’Alloro is een prachtig gerenoveerde boutique Agriturismo, voorzien van alle gemakken. Wij - gezin met twee kinderen van 6 en 9 - verbleven in een prachtig appartement met twee slaapkamers boven, een heerlijk stevige douche en een keuken met alle voorzieningen. Zwembad vonden we alle vier fantastisch. Voor het overgrote deel hadden het zwembad voor ons zelf - en dat met volledige bezetting in het hoogseizoen! Prima locatie midden in Toscane om Pisa te bezoeken, Siena, San Gimignano en alles wat daar tussen in zit. Prachtige wijnen en wijnhuizen in deze streek. Clare en Andy kunnen een paar goede wijnhuizen/ boerderijen aanbevelen en zo nodig, brengen en halen ze je. We voelden ons enorm thuis en Andy en Clare zijn enorm zorgzaam en gastvrij. We werden verrast met een heerlijke home made lemon cake. We hebben met ons gezin een pasta workshop gehad in de keuken van Andy & Clare, daarna samen gegeten aan een lange tafel in het avond zonnetje. We weten niet of het er ook echt van gaat komen, maar we zouden hier zeker terugkomen!

A wonderful property with a garden and a pool, thoughtfully designed with guests’ comfort in mind. Very responsive hosts who are always ready to listen and offer helpful advice. We were thrilled with the pasta cooking class that Andy organized for us upon my request.
