The new Luxury apartment in the historic center

Perfekt lugnt läge men nära till allt. En gratis parkering inte långt från boendet. Rymlig och mycket trevlig lägenhet, och en avskild uteplats där vi åt frukost. Stora rum (alla med AC) och tre nyrenoverade badrum. Mycket fräscht och trevlig värd, en flaska vin stod o väntade i kylen. Rekommenderas varmt!

It was an excellent location close to the Piazza Anfiteatro and shops and restaurants. The air-conditioning was a god-send!

Very spacious and great location

Great location. Stephano was very helpful and came to help when we needed him. The air con worked well. Very clean and comfortable.

An information pack in the apartment would have been helpful. Where to buy food nearby, how to use the hob. A tea towell was needed. It would have been nice for a few provisions to have been provided for when we arrived. We arrived at night and there was nowhere to get basics like milk and bread. In the first bedroom there was no plug near the bed. Only one in the bathroom. It would have been nice to have some English channels on the TV. It was all Italian.

The apartment is on the ground floor, which helps it remain a bit cooler than the upper floors. The owner, Stefano, met us on arrival to hand over the keys and give us a tour of the apartment to show us all the features; he is very friendly and speaks good English. Stefano was very responsive in answering questions and providing assistance through booking.com messages, both before and during our stay. It is actually a 2-bedroom apartment with both a double fold-down bed and a double sofa bed in the large living room. All 3 of the sleeping rooms have their own air-conditioning units which are ultra quiet and do not disturb your sleep. All 3 sleeping areas have their own shower / toilet; all the bed linen and towels were fresh and clean and the whole apartment was in excellent repair and clean. The 3 main double beds were comfortable. The kitchen is spacious with a round dining table at one end. There is a small, enclosed garden at the back with outdoor chairs and a table provided where it is very pleasant to sit in the evening. There is also a small outhouse with a washing machine and a drying rack. The apartment is situated at the north end of one of the main streets in Lucca and there are plentiful shops, bars, restaurants, churches and piazzas within 5-10 minutes' walking distance. It is 10-minute walk to the rail station and 15 minutes to the main bus station, although a taxi is recommended if you have large suitcases.

The only slight minus point is that, as is often the case, the sofa bed has a thin mattress and is not recommended for anyone with a back problem.

This property has great location and has enough bathrooms for group of six people.

I didn’t like humidity in the apartment, bad smell and ground floor. Apartment looks much better on the photos than in the reality.

The location is great. Stefanos was helpful. We asked him for a blender, and he provided it. When we informed him that there was no soap dispenser, shampoos and kitchen towels, he provided them the soonest possible.The rooms are quite big, there is a closet and a bathroom to each one which is very nice.

The two bedrooms are half underground, which couldn't be seen at the photos, and it was not mentioned in the house description. Because of it, there was a lot of humidity, and constantly, there was the smell of fungus. Stefanos put the air conditioner in a non humidity motion, but this didn't help at all. There was no possibility to provide air purifier machines. So during our stay we could smell all the time the bad air which was very worrying. The sofa in the main room felt dirty and had a bad smell. After we covered it with some towels, it was bearable to sit there.

I liked the location in Lucca as it was close to everything. There were 6 of us and 3 separate rooms and we all had our own bathrooms with big enough space for each family. We had a small backyard where to have a dinner outdoors during the night!! AC was also very helpful as it was very hot during the days of our stay! Would stay there again definitely! Host Stefano was very helpful and responded fast to all our questions about transportations, restaurants and anything else we had. Great experience, would recommend to anyone.
