"Peaceful and stunning"

Cristian the owner met us at the train station and gave us a lift to the property. He was very pleasant and welcoming, he spoke very good English and was easily contactable via WhatsApp. There are around 12 apartments with 2 pools, all of them have outdoor space containing sunbeds, tables, chairs and parasols. There are 3 washing machines in the garage for use of the guests for 5 euros including detergent. There's everything you need in the apartment, it has a great shower and a safe in the wall. The location above the town is very peaceful with exceptional views across the town and the sea. You can see Stromboli, which makes for beautiful sunsets across the sea. It takes around 10 minutes to walk into town and around 20 minutes to the beach. The walk back is a steep hill without steps and is easily manageable. We have really enjoyed our 6 night stay and would recommend and return to the property.

"On top of the World!!!"

Cristian is the perfect host. He helped us get from and to the station, and even took us to the supermarket to get our initial supplies. The property is very well designed, there was plenty of room both outside and inside. The views from our terrace were superb, although Stromboli was rather shy for most of our stay. Highly recommended!!!

The ascent via the private road is rather challenging, and you need to be fit to achieve it, especially if you are carrying things. The Tropea tut-tut service is the answer, make sure you have their number (they're on WhatsApp too).

"Nice calm apartment area"

Nice view towards the sea in a calm area up the hill. The pool is nice and the apartment area very private and safe.

Not directly in the Tropea city center (this can be positive or negative). It takes a 10min walk or 3min drive to get into the town.
